STACEY’S APARTMENT***

Stacey enters the house with red traces of mark over her body. Desiree and Paige made sure to beat out the demon dwelling in her out of her body.

“What happened to you Stacey?” Her Mom asked, but Stacey ignores her and went to her room, shutting the door.

Stacey sits on the bed and broke into tears immediately.

“What you did to Sabrina was so cruel Stacey. She’s your best friend who’s ready to do anything and everything for you”

“You of all people should know how badly Sabrina is suffering, how could you have added to her problem, just because of a Guy”.

“You lost a precious friend for good, and even us too”.

Paige and Desiree’s voice echoes in her ears, and she cried the more, Somehow she’s regretting what she did.

Her eyes met with the picture of she and Sabrina that was in the bedstand table. She took the picture caressing it softly.

“Sabrina” She muttered crying.

Sabrina has always been a very good best friend to her. Stacey recalled in their middle school, when she (Stacey) was hit by a hit-and-run driver. She almost died if not for Sabrina who gave her a piggyback running all through the way to the hospital.

“How could I have been so stupid. I almost killed the one person who cares about me so much. I can’t face her anymore, neither can I be her best friend again” Stacey said crying.

She stood up from the bed, went to her wardrobe and began bringing out her entire clothes, arranging it inside her black luggage.

When she was done, she came out from the room with the luggage, her mom stood up from the sofa seeing her with a luggage.

“Where’re you going Stacey?”

“To Iraq” She answers cleaning her tears that was dropping down from her eyes.

“To Iraq? But I thought you never wanted to join your big brother over there”.

“I change my mind. I don’t want to stay in Chicago anymore. Call my brother and tell him I’m taking a night flight to Iraq” Stacey said.

“Can’t you at least wait still tomorrow?” Her mom asked.

“Staying here for another day will ignite my guilt the more. I have done something so unforgivable and that’s why I’m running away”.

“What did you do Stacey?” Her mom asked.

“I don’t want to talk about it Mom. I just want to start a new, I don’t want to stay Chicago anymore. And I’m sorry for being the worst daughter” Stacey said.

“Your not a bad daughter Stacey”

“Then I guess I’m a bad friend. Can you hug me one last time” Stacey said crying.

Her mom sighs and hugs her, patting her back softly.

“I don’t know what you did, but I hope you will be able to get through it” Her mom said making Stacey cry the more.

She left the house with her luggage, but didn’t went straight to the airport, she dropped by at the hospital. She inquired from the nurse where Sabrina’s ward was. And when she got there, she broke into tears seeing the state Sabrina was in. Her innocent face was jam-packed with injuries. She was still receiving blood.

“Sab.. Sab…. ri” Stacey couldn’t call out her name because of her cry.

“I’m sorry Sabrina. I’m sorry” She said crying, caressing the unconscious Sabrina’s face.

After crying so much, she wrote something in a piece of paper and drop it on the nightstand table.

She looks at Sabrina one more time before leaving the ward.

“You and Desiree shouldn’t have done that to her Paige” Carding said as he and Paige walks home together.

“What we did to her, is nothing compared to what she did to Sabrina. She’ll be so broken when she knows about what Stacey did” Paige said.

“You don’t always mind your business, hope you know that?”

“Yes I do. If I’m the type that care less about other people, we won’t have met or even become a couple” Paige said and Carding smiles.

“I’m happy you approached me that day”

“And I am so glad you weren’t the spoilt or rude brat, I will have indeed broken your head a long time ago” Paige said. Carding smiles and kiss her hand.

“I love you so much Paige”

“Same emotions” Paige said and Carding kiss her lightly.

“Can you buy me vanilla lollipop. Is my favorite” Paige said acting cute.

“Now I know why your lips always taste like vanilla” Carding said smiling. He took her hand and they went to a shop and he brought her lots of Lollipops.

CONVENIENT STORE***

“You have been looking at your phone since you got here. Is everything okay?” Bryan asked.

Nadia sighs and drops her phone on the table.

“This is so fraustratingly”.

“What’s wrong bunny?” Bryan asked.

“The runaway modeling stuff will be held soon. I’m trying to watch other professional models so as to copy their hot and s*xy charisma, but I can’t just do it” Nadia said.

“You don’t have to force yourself if you can’t do it Nadia”

“If I had my way, I’ll have done so, but since I don’t, I’m stuck in this hell of a modelling career, when is obviously not working for me. I wish my mom can see that I really want to become a famous writer”.

Bryan sighs and sits beside her.

“Don’t worry, when I make enough money and become the one who your Mom wants for you, I’ll stand up against her for you”.

“Really? Then I can’t wait for you to become a gynecologist” Nadia said smiling.

“And I also want everyone on earth to know the face of the writer of FOREVER YOURS, is really so popular in the internet”.

“And thank you for supporting me”.

“I can do anything for you Nadia, that’s how much I love you” Bryan said and Nadia smiles. He leaned closer to kiss her.

“Bryan” Desiree calls him, entering the convenience store. Bryan and Nadia snuggle away from each other, before she could see them.

Desiree looks at both of them with surprised.

“Nadia. What’re you doing here?” She asked.

“Well I… I.. emm…

“She came to see you to talk about your artwork, but since you weren’t here, she decided to wait for you” Bryan lied.

“Is that true?” Desiree asked looking at Nadine.

“Yes is true Desiree. I came over so we can discuss on our historical painting together” Nadia said.

“Sorry for keeping you waiting Nadia. But can we postpone it to another day. I beat out a demon from someone and right now, I’m exhausted” Desiree said.

“Is fine Desiree, you don’t have to apologize. I’ll be going now” Nadia said.

She took her bag and leaves the convenience store.

“Who did you beat today Desiree?” Bryan asked.

“A former member of our friendship group. She’s no longer a part of our group” Desiree said and Bryan looks at her with a puzzle face.

A customer enters the store, Bryan was about going to attend to her, but Desiree halted him.

“Just relax Bryan, I will do the attending” Desiree said with a smile. She winks at him, before going to meet the customer.

“Okay, this is getting more strange” Bryan said looking at Desiree.

HOSPITAL=SABRINA’S WARD***

“I’m so happy your finally awake big sis, I thought you won’t wake up” Seth said and Sabrina smiles weakly, since she was still recovering.

“Sorry I made you worry Seth”

“Dad is already in jail”.

“Huh”

“Angelo filed a case against him for child abuse. He was arrested by the police for beating you up so badly”.

“Wait. Did you just say Angelo?” Sabrina asked and Angelo enters the ward before Seth could answer.

“Angelo” Seth said running to hug him. Angelo smiles and hugs him back. Sabrina blinks surprisingly.

“Seth how did you know him? Is your first time meeting him, right?” Sabrina asked.

“Of course not big sis. He’s the one who helped paid our house bills, when the landlady almost threw us out. That’s how I got to know him” Seth said and Sabrina looks at him with widened eyes.

“Seth can I talk to your big sis alone?” Angelo asked.

“Sure” Seth said and leaves the ward.

“You have been the anonymous person helping me out?” Sabrina asked, her face shows that she was extremely surprised.

“Yes”

“Why? Why have you been helping me secretly?” Sabrina asked.

“Because I care about you a lot Rina. Seeing you sad is what I loathe most”

“But Stacey loves you Angelo”

“Do you know she’s the reason why your here in the hospital?”

“Meaning”

“Stacey was the one who framed you of being pregnant” Angelo said.

And Sabrina shakes her head in disbelief.

“No. No that’s not true, Stacey will never do that to me. She can never do such a cruelful thing to me” Sabrina said crying.

“I know is hard to believe since you considered her your best friend. But she lied to you dad about you flirting with guys and getting pregnant”.

Sabrina broke into tears immediately, it was too painful for her to bear, Stacey was more than a friend to her, and that’s why it breaks her heart to find that Stacey could go as far as killing her all because of a guy.

“Rina” Angelo muttered her name.

“Where’s Stacey? I need to speak with her. I need inquire from her, if she really did this to me” Stacey said between tears.

“Stacey already left Chicago”

“What?”

“She left last night, I guess her guilt is eating her up. But she’d left something for you” Angelo said and Sabrina looks at him with wetty eyes.

Angelo points at the nightstand table, Sabrina sees a folded paper on it and she took it, as her eyes read through the lines.

✍️ Before you get to read this, I’ll have landed in Iraq. I can’t face you after what I did, and that’s why I have no choice but to leave. If I continue staying in Chicago, I might be prompt to do bad and cruelful things to you, because of my love for Angelo. I don’t want to hurt you Sab, and that’s why I left, but I’d wish you got your revenge on me for what I did to you. I’m sorry bestie, sorry for hurting you. I’ll be staying in Iraq with my big brother, hoping to start all over again, and I know that I won’t ever find a friend like you. Angelo loves you so much Sab, try to give him a chance in your life. Don’t worry about me, I’m sure karma will visit me for what I did to you. I’m so sorry Sabrina, I really I’m ✍️

Sabrina broke into more tears after reading the letter, she’s going to miss Stacey for sure.

Angelo sits beside her in the bed, hugging her.

“Stop crying Rina, is breaking my heart seeing you this way”.

“She shouldn’t have left, a few slaps would have settled everything, she shouldn’t have left” Sabrina said crying the more.

Angelo broke the hug, cleaning her tears with his thumb.

“I guess this is were you and Stacey’s friendship was meant to end. You still have Paige and Desiree, they’ll always be there for you” Angelo said, still cleaning her tears.

“Are you in love with me?” Sabrina asked and Angelo slowly nods.

“Yes Rina, I love you. I always love you since the day you came to Empire High as a scholarship student, that’s why I have always help you, Cuz I hates it when your sad”.

“But I don’t know what Love feels like Angelo. Being too dedicated in my jobs have rendered me ignorant about what falling in love feels like”.

“Then give me a chance Rina”

“Huh?”

“Give me a chance to show you what love feels like. I love you so much Rina, I really do” Angelo said with eyes filled with emotions.

Sabrina only nods her head.

Angelo kiss her forehead, and hugs her.

Sabrina got discharged two days later. Paige and Desiree also got to know about Stacey leaving Chicago. They were going to miss her for sure, but life has to move on.

The six friends decided to go for a two days and a night outing to have fun together, it was hosted because of Sabrina, so she can forget about what Stacey did.

“Why’s there just three bicycles, when we’re clearly six?Desiree asked the attendance who brought the bicycles for them.

“I only brought three, since it consisted of three boys and three girls” The man said.

“Don’t worry sir, I and my baby will ride together” Carding wrapping his hand around her waist, Paige smiles, they took one of the bicycles and pedal off.

“I know I’m still courting you but you won’t mind riding with me, right?” Angelo asked and Sabrina smiles.

Both entered the second bicycles and pedal off.

“Seriously? You all will leave me here” Desiree said and sees Dylan looking at her, holding a bicycle.

“What”

“I won’t mind if you ride with me”

“Thanks but no thanks, the only person I will love to ride with is Bryan” Desiree said folding her hands.

“Alright then, stay here if you want to” Dylan said. He was about hopping on the bicycle, but stopped halfway and looks at Desiree.

“Aah before I forget, this place is filled with hoodlums, and they only attack girls who are alone. And since your a girl and all alone in this place, You’ll be an easy target” Dylan said and was about pedaling on his bicycle when Desiree quickly said.

“Wait I’ll go with you” She said.

“I thought you didn’t want to” Dylan said.

“Well I changed my mind” Desiree rushly said hopping on the bicycle.

“Hold on tight” Dylan said and Desiree scoffs, folding her hands. Dylan intentionally halted the bicycle, Desiree almost fell off, but she quickly held his waist

“Are you crazy!” She halfyells.

“Thought you were strong” He muttered with a smile and continue with the ride. He met up with Carding and Angelo, and they all ride around the hills, having so much fun together.

“Let’s a play game” Paige said smiling. They made tents since they’ll be spending the night at the beach, and also set up fire too.

“What kind of game?” Sabrina asked.

“Whispering game. Someone will whisper a question to one person and that person who’s being ask, we answer the question openly. And then others will guess what the question is, curious to know what the question is, you’ll drink from your cups. So who’s in?”

“Me” They all curious at once.

The game began and Dylan whispers a question to Carding. Carding looks at Paige and smiles.

“No we haven’t” Carding said.

Angelo, Sabrina, Desiree and Paige drink from their cups curious to know what he asked.

“Okay fine, I asked if he and Paige already have S*x” Dylan asked.

“My hunch was right. Your rotten to the core” Desiree said and Dylan sticks out his tongue for her, while Desiree gave him a f**k you sign.

The game continues and Carding whispers a question to Angelo.

“Sabrina” Angelo said and Sabrina looks at him.

“I think I know the question to this answer. Carding you ask him who he wants to spend the rest of his life with, right?” Paige asked, and Carding nods.

“Wow Sabrina you should prepare to wear a wedding gown soon” Desiree teased and they all laugh.

Angelo looks at Sabrina and she only smiled slightly, still doesn’t know what love feels like.

Angelo whispers a question to Dylan and Dylan smiles.

“Desiree” Dylan said.

“Me? Why did you mention my name? Angelo what did you ask him?” Desiree said and rushly drank from her cup.

“I asked him who’s the fattest among the three of you was” Angelo said and Dylan Laughs.

Desiree stood up angrily and went to him, pulling his hair.

“How dare you call me fat!!” She spats.

“But is true, you almost lessed the tyres of my bicycle” Dylan said and Desiree pulls his hair the more.

“Let go off my hair… Ouch!!” He screams out but Desiree cared less.

One of the legs of the chair he was sitting on broke, he quickly grabbed Desiree’s waist and both landed together on the ground, with their lips colliding with each other.

Eyes went wide opened…
