CAFETERIA**

Linda and Cole kept staring each other on the floor while the others took countless videos and pictures of them.

Linda got back to her senses and she quickly stood up from him.

“I’m.. I’m sorry” Linda said and stretched her hand to help him.

Cole frowned and ignored her hand, standing on his own as he wiped his lips.

“What’s even wrong with you? First you steal my phone, now you kissed me!! Are you perhaps doing all these on purpose” Cole snapped

Linda frowned.

“Oh please! Cut me some slacks would you? It was just an accident.. Beside, I can’t stoop so low.. If I had a crush on you or something I’d have told you.. That’s how I function”

“And you…” Linda turned back to Amber.

“How f**king dare you push me? Who do you think you are” Linda said, approaching Amber who was still being held by Julia.

“How dare you kiss him!!” Amber shouted angrily and landed a slap on Linda’s cheek.

👥 Ohhh!!!

Linda held her cheek as she lifted her head up to look at Amber.

“B*tch!!!” Linda spatted and slapped her back then grabbed her hair and began pulling it.

Soon both of them began fighting.

👥 Go Linda!!

👥 Go Amber!!

The cafeteria became so noisy as the two girls battled like cats and dogs.

Instead of coming to separate the fight, they were instead taking teams to see who would win

“Cole you’re really right.. There’s never a boring day in this school” Dean laughed and held Cole’s shoulder.

He was still rubbing his lips while frowning..

Well the boys came to have their lunch and Cole was about to order their food when Linda fell on him from nowhere.

Lance on the other hand smirked as he recognized the girl to be the one who kissed him last night.

“Let my friend go!!” Julia came to pull Linda off Julia but Linda turned and landed a slap on her face..

She staggered back blindly..

“This is getting messier” Theodore muttered from his seat and stood up.

“Okay Linda… That’s enough!” He said and carried her by her tummy.

“Put me down Theo!! Let me teach that dog a lesson!!” Linda kicked her legs in the air.

“Dog?” Amber muttered and made to launch back at her but Cole held her back.

“Don’t” He muttered.

Theodore left the cafeteria with screaming Linda while Nathaniel and Gianna followed them.

Luckily there was no teacher near the cafeteria if not, they could have landed in deep trouble.

Few seconds later, Arianna came in the cafeteria. She walked to her friends and was surprised to see their cheeks red.. Amber’s own was worse.

“What happened?” Arianna asked.

Amber ignored her and angrily marched out of the cafeteria.

“She got into a fight with those scholarship guys” Julia replied to her

“Oh..” Was all Arianna could say.

EMPTY CLASS**

“Calm down Linda” Theodore said to Linda who was still breathing heavily.

“But you should be given an accolade. You kissed the great Cole” Gianna chuckled.

“Let’s go back to class… From the timetable it says we’re having mathematics” Nathaniel said.

“Wow. Since when did you became interested in books..” Theodore smirked.

“I just wanna make mom proud” Nathaniel smiled as they all left the class.

“Mommy’s boy” Gianna teased.

Nathaniel chuckled.

“I’ll catch you guys in class.. Need to grab a textbook in my locker” Nathaniel said and left for his locker

He got to his locker and opened it then grabbed his textbook and made to close it when a book fell from his locker. It opened in the process

“My music book” He muttered and bent down to pick it but someone beats him.

He looked up to see it was Dean.

“You dropped it” Dean muttered and handed it back to him with a smile.

“Thanks…sir” Nathaniel muttered and he laughed.

“Sir? C’mon! We’re surely age mates” Dean said.

“But you’re a celebrity… You’re popular, rich and all that” Nathaniel said.

“Yeah.. But before that, I’m a human like you all.. This school was literally the school I grew up in,, maybe that’s why after I made it to the music industry they still see me as Dean” Dean said and waved at a fan girl who was waving at him.

“Oh okay.. Can you sign my music book? You’re my bias” Nathaniel said.

“Sure” Dean took it and autographed it before handing him back.

“Thanks” Nathaniel smiled and kept back the book in his locker before closing it.

They began walking to class.

“So you write music… Interesting” Dean muttered

“Yeah… But I’m not really that confident in it, it mostly sounds like rubbish to my ear” Nathaniel said.

“Me too.. I sometimes wonder how Legendz manage to like it” Dean said.

They both chuckled..

“What’s your name?” Dean asked.

“Nathaniel”

“Nice… I’ll call you Nat” Dean said and hung his hand round his shoulder as they entered the class together.

CLOSING TIME**

“I’m so tired!!” Linda exclaimed as they walked out of the school.

“For your information, we still have our part time job to attend” Gianna said and Linda twisted her face as if she wanted to cry.

“I’ll be going to my part time job guys…” Nathaniel said.

“Oh okay” Gianna pouted sadly.

“I’ll walk you there. Bye Linda!!” Theodore smiled.

He faced Gianna and as usual they just frowned at each other as a sign of goodbye before parting ways.

“If you’re crushing on Gianna,, just say it to her. What’s up with that twisted face of yours” Nathaniel said.

“Crush? C’mon!! Why should I crush on her when I can have all the girls in school.. I just don’t like her” Theodore muttered.

“Besides, I think she’s instead into you” Theodore said.

“Me? No! She’s just a friend… My first female friend, I don’t want things to get weird between us” Nathaniel said.

“We’ll see” Theodore thought as they walked.

He left Nathaniel at his workplace before going to his..

4PM**

Coming back home to hear that her father went for a business trip that’ll last for a week was literally the best news one could tell Arianna.

Beatrice decided to go shopping with her daughter and Arianna was so happy.. Too bad it’ll end when her father will come back from the trip.

“Mom” Arianna called Beatrice who was pressing her phone as the car drove

“Yes baby” Beatrice looked at her.

“Um… Friday is our school’s prom night, I wanted to ask permission to go” Arianna asked.

“Well…” Beatrice hesitated.

“Please mom.. It’s just once in a lifetime, I’ll be in college next year and I’ll never get to know that feeling. Please mom? Please?” Arianna made her puppy face.

Beatrice sighed and slowly nodded.

“But don’t make your father to know okay?” Beatrice said and Arianna nodded happily.

“It’s our secret!” Arianna said and they interlocked their pinky fingers.

Arianna looked out of the window, feeling so happy.

“Oh mom! Can we stop by to buy ourselves some jewelry? That store is the best around here” Arianna said, pointing at the store

“Okay..” Beatrice said and turned to the driver

“Stop at the shop in front us” Beatrice said and the driver complied.

They got down the car and both went in the store while their bodyguards stood outside. Arianna was shocked with the waiting line she saw and it was mostly girls of her age.

“Is there a party or a festival I’m not aware of?” Arianna asked inwardly.

👥 Look! It’s the governor’s wife!!

👥 And her pretty daughter!! Gosh, just look at her baby face.

👥 Have you watched her recent TikTok?

The crowd immediately made way for them and they went in front to the counter.

“How may I-” Nathaniel paused when she saw who it was.

Arianna’s smile slowly fell from her face when she saw him. For some reason, she doesn’t like his guts and boldness.

Nathaniel blinked severally as he stared at Beatrice and then at Arianna.

“She’s the governor’s daughter?!” His mind screamed.

He quickly composed himself and smiled then faced Beatrice.

“Ma’am… How may I help you?” He said.

“I see my daughter wasn’t lying when she said you sell the best jewelries.. I want a silver necklace and earring that match my skin color” Beatrice said.

“Oh.. Wait here” Nathaniel said and went to get a box

He opened it and Beatrice smiled satisfactorily.

“It’ll match your glowing skin color ma’am..” Beatrice said.

“You really know how to make customer buy your goods” Beatrice complimented him and he smiled then bowed slightly as a thank you.

He turned to Arianna who was glaring at him with her hands crossed.

“Miss… I have something for you too” He said, dragging the ‘miss’

He went and brought out another small box then blew off the dust from it.

“Here” He placed it on the counter then opened.

It was a silver shinny bracelet which came with its own assorted ring.

“It’ll match your slender hands perfectly” Nathaniel said slowly, staring at her.

Beatrice was busy looking for another thing to buy so she wasn’t even paying attention to them.

Arianna looked at it and truly, it was beautiful..

“Can I try it?” She asked

“Sure” Nathaniel pushed the box towards her.

She took the bracelet and opened it to wear but she had difficulties in closing it back.

She was startled when Nathaniel took her right hand and closed it for her. He took the ring and slowly slipped it in her fingers.

👥 My God!!!

👥 I don’t know on who’s shoes I wish to be.. Arianna or the cute guy!!

The other girls began screaming and gushing..

Arianna quickly removed her hand from his and looked at him. She looked back at her hand and truly it was beautiful.

“Get me a necklace and earring that’ll match it” Arianna said and Nathaniel complied.

She tried it on too before Beatrice paid for everything before the left the shop.

Nathaniel stared at Arianna till she was out of sight. He looked at his hand and smiled.

“It’s beating fast again” He muttered and placed his hand on his chest.

MCKENZIE MANSION~7PM**

“Ingrid!!!” Camilla screamed while running downstairs when a maid told her that Ingrid has arrived.

She got to the living room and met Ingrid discussing with her mother.

“Ingrid!!” She screamed.

“Cami!!” Ingrid screamed and they ran to each other’s embrace.

“Looks like I’ll leave you two be” Mrs McKenzie said and left them

“Gosh! I so much missed you” Camilla pouted, hugging her tightly.

“Me too. How have you been?” Ingrid asked, breaking the hug.

“Sad.. Its been two day since I last saw the hot cute guy” Camilla said and sat down on the couch

“You and crushing on people.. You need help” Ingrid chuckled and sat too.

“It’s love! I’m sure of that” Camilla pouted.

“If you say so… Gosh! I saw my childhood crush today and he was so handsome and hot!! Luckily he recognized me and we chatted for hours.. I’m so happy!!” Ingrid screamed.

“I’m lucky he recognized me… Because I’ll make sure he falls for me before anyone else snatches him” Ingrid said.

“What if he has a girlfriend or a wife” Camila asked.

“It doesn’t matter… I’ll make him fall for me” Ingrid said and bit her lips.

“That’s not nice” Camilla said.

“Yeah, I know but… I love him so much!!” Ingrid pouted.

“Should we start calling ourselves lover girls?” Camilla said and they both laughed.

They began discussing, making up for the time they were away from each other.

FRIDAY, BRAUNS MANSION~6PM**

Arianna sat in front of her vanity table as she did her makeup. She was putting on a yellow gown which ended above her knees, looking really cute on her.

Once she was done applying her mascara, she began wearing her jewelry.

She picked the bracelet and began struggling to put with a hand. Her mind suddenly went to when Nathaniel wore it for her

She quickly shook her head..

“Why I’m I think of that naive guy” She muttered and finally fixed it then wore the assorted ring before standing up.

She checked herself out and smiled before leaving her room.

“I’ll be going mom” Arianna said.

“Make sure you return before 10 okay?” Beatrice said as the maids massaged her back.

“Sure mom” She replied and left.

She got out of the mansion and as planned, Julia’s car was waiting outside for her.

The driver opened the door for her and she went in.

“Hey girls” Arianna waved.

“Wow! You’re looking hot Ari” Amber commented.

“Not as much as you” Arianna said.

They were putting on the same color of dress though different designs.

“Let’s rock the party!!” Julia exclaimed.

“Yeah!!” The others exclaimed as the car drove off.

“Wow, the hall is beautiful!!” Gianna exclaimed as she walked in with Nathaniel.

“Yeah, quite impressive” Nathaniel commented.

She was putting on a pink gown with short sleeves and she had her hair tied up in a ponytail with a lip gloss on

Nathaniel on the other hand was putting on a simple blue shirt and jeans with his only pair of shoes..

👥 It’s them again

👥 I think they’re a couple

👥 Oh no! I wanted to ask the girl out… She’s really cute.

“Let’s go sit there” Gianna held his hand and pulled him to an empty seat.

“Who’s ready to party!!” Linda screamed as she walked in.

“Drama queen” Theodore muttered beside her.

Well their house weren’t that far from each other so they came together.

Linda was putting on a black crop top with a black mini skirt showcasing her s*xy waist and @ss.

“Look the others are there” Theodore said and they walked to them.

“Wassup ma man” Theodore said and bumped his fists with Nathaniel before sitting with him.

The hall became noisy with people murmuring here and there as three people walked in.

👥 Look! It’s the school queens.

👥 Amber… Is that you?

👥 Julia a night please??

👥 Gosh… Arianna, notice me please?

👥 They slayed as always.

Nathaniel’s mouth dropped to the floor as he watched Arianna walk while discussing with her friends. She was just too pretty to ignore.

Gianna followed his line of vision and bit her lips, slowly looking away..

“Guys, I bet you all that I’ll f*ck that girl there before the end of next week.. Think her name is Julia” Theodore said and licked his lips

“Really? Let’s bet!!” Linda quickly said and they stuck hands.

“Make sure you gist me after okay?” Linda said and Theodore just winked.

“These two” Gianna shook her head and looked back at Nathaniel who was still staring at Arianna.

“So Nathan.. Can you grab a drink for me?” Gianna nudged his arm.

“Yeah me too! I’m thirsty” Linda said.

“Oh okay” Nathaniel said. He looked one last time at Arianna before leaving to get the drink

“Cheers!!” They chorused and drank from their cups.

“Arianna… You’ll seriously go for a cocktail, why not alcohol” Julia asked as she sipped from her cup.

“I’m not really that tolerant to alcohol so I’ll pas my turn” Arianna muttered

“You’re so boring” Amber said and she frowned, looking at Amber

“I see you’re still so skinny and flat” A voice said behind her.

The girls turned to see Nancy standing behind her with Poppy beside her as always..

They were both dressed b*tchily.

Arianna smirked.

“Of course! I may not have huge b**bs or @ss like you but at least I’m pretty. I’m skinny, pretty with brains too… Oh and did I forget to add people want me unlike you,, you’re just a cheap whóre” Arianna said

Nancy smirked more..

“Come with me.. I have a game to propose to you” Nancy said.

Arianna ignored her and turned to her friends..

“Unless you’re scared” Nancy added.

Arianna turned back to Nancy and smirked then slowly stood up. She followed Nancy to a quiet corridor and crossed her arms under her chest while staring coldly at Nancy.

“Bark fast… I need to go and party with my friends” Arianna said.

“Let’s make a bet” Nancy muttered and smirked more.

Arianna raised her brow up, signalling her to explain.

“You see that cute quiet guy over there?” Nancy gestured at Nathaniel who was at the counter, ordering drinks.

“I dare you to make him fall for you, date him and then breakup with him in the most humiliating way ever… All that in a month” Nancy smirked, walking to her back.

“What will I even gain in this” Arianna frowned..

Nancy was determined on having Travis all to herself even if it means, making him believe that Arianna is dating another..

“If you succeed, I’ll leave the school but if you fail… You’re the one leaving” Nancy said.

Arianna smirked..

“Now you’re speaking English… It’s on” Arianna said.

“Enjoy the last 30 days you have in this school” Arianna said and left.

Nancy smirked mischievously as she watched Arianna leave..

“Well I have 30 days too to make Travis fall for me” Nancy said inwardly and left too.

Unknown to her that someone was recording all their conversation.

“Finally my drink!!” Linda said and took the vodka from Nathaniel and sipped on it.

Nathaniel handed a glass of beer to Theodore then a glass of juice to Gianna.

He sat down and opened his can of soda then drank from it.

Arianna went back to her friends and sat down, looking at Nathaniel’s direction.

“One month..” She smirked.
