I Bear No Responsibility for Mohbad’s Death – Marley Issues Official Statement
Naira Marley, the prominent Nigerian artist and CEO of Marlian Records, has issued a response to the serious allegations made against him concerning the untimely demise of his former signee, Mohbad.
Following Mohbad’s tragic passing, a wave of videos and voice recordings emerged implicating Naira Marley in the matter. Additionally, there was a video in which Mohbad expressed the belief that Naira Marley should be held accountable if anything happened to him.
These allegations stemmed from reports suggesting that Naira Marley had purportedly sent his associates, including his close friend Sam Larry, after Mohbad.
Addressing the accusations that surfaced on social media, Naira Marley released a statement vehemently denying these claims, characterizing them as falsehoods and threats directed towards him.
He made it clear that he had no knowledge or involvement in Mohbad’s unfortunate passing. Naira Marley also disclosed that while he had encountered several issues with Mohbad in the past, these disputes had never escalated to the point of harboring ill intentions towards his former signee.
