I have squashed my beef with Blaqbonez – Comic Actor, Carter Efe
Carter Efe said he has reconciled with Blaqbonez, Nigerian comic actor, Carter Efe, recently shed light on his recent dispute with popular Nigerian Afrobeat Rap artist, Blaqbonez.
The conflict arose when Blaqbonez expressed dissatisfaction with the terms of his signee's contract, which only granted a meager 5% share despite the massive success of their collaborative hit track ‘Machala'.
In a recent conversation with the MTV Base team, Carter Efe confirmed that they have successfully resolved their differences through mutual understanding. He shared that both parties leveraged their mature qualities to let go of animosity, and clarified that their feud was not merely a clout-chasing endeavor as some had assumed.
He said:
“My beef with Blaqbonez wasn't a cruise. It was a real quarrel. He find my trouble. I just dey my own for Twitter, him just come dey say, ‘If you think music is easy, why do you want to give Berri Tiga 5% [of the proceeds of ‘Machala']?”
“I was surprised. I didn't reply him. My handler was replying him on Twitter and they were trading words. He thought I was the one. But we have settled now. That's guys for you. We are not like women; they envy each other [laughs].”
