“Hello? I said is Lucy around?” He asked again
“Uhm, sorry she’s not around. Why are you looking for her?” I asked him
“Well, she asked me to pick her from the house she went to clean and I couldn’t go then so I came to check if she’s back” he said
“Oh, she isn’t back yet, but what’s your name so I can tell her you came looking for her”
“My name is Xavier, and no need telling her, I’ll go look for her there myself” he said
“Can I come with you?” I asked
“Sorry, I’m afraid you can’t, cause I don’t even know you” he said and I felt hurt, I didn’t even know why I was hurt by his statement. I don’t even know him, I’m just meeting him for the first time anyways.
“Okay” I said disappointedly
“Fine, you can come” he said and I squeaked
“Are you sure?” I asked excitedly
“Yea, if you still want to come though”
“Alright, please wait, let me put on something better.” I said and he came in and sat down while I went to put on something better.

“You’re pretty” he said and I blushed

“You’re welcome, let’s go” he said and we went outside and I locked the door…
We got to a car which seems to be his, so he has a car.
“Is this your car?” I asked
“Of course, oh, you are also one of those people who thinks I’m poor.”

“It’s okay, i totally understand” he cut in
He came and opened the door and I got in
“Thanks” I said and he shut the door
So he isn’t poor? He looked poor though. If he isn’t poor, then why’s he helping Lucy?
“So you aren’t poor?” I asked as he got in
“Of course not. Many think I’m poor when they see me, that’s because I don’t like showing that I’ve money” he said
“Oh, I see” was all I muttered
“Are you related to Lucy?” I asked
“No, you see, I was interested in her daughter, Anny, but you see she turned me down”
“She did?”
“Yes”
“Sorry, that’s sad, but if that’s the case, why are you still helping her daughter?” I asked
“You see dear, it’s her choice, I can’t hate her because she turned me down, I believe I’ll find someone else who will love me.”

“Yes, so who are you?”
“Sorry, my manners, I’m Isabella”
“Isa, nice name. So you’re Lucy’s friend or what?”
“Actually, I don’t know her, she helped me today. This is my first day here in Miami”

“For Abby, we need to pick her nanny tomorrow, so we can go look for a good place where you can start up your boutique, then we’ll go enroll her in a good school”

We all are the food I cooked and Lucy was very happy because she could now rest.
“I’ll go to bed now, and when you guys are done talking, Isabella, please lock all the doors” Lucy said

“Goodnight” she said and pecked my forehead and also Xavier’s and she went to her room
“She’s a nice lady” I said

“Well, if you want to help her, why don’t you start up a restaurant for her” I said

“Well, she said since her daughter rejected me, she doesn’t want me to help her, that it will look like she’s taking advantage of me. That she just wants me to pick her up”
“Well, I want to. I want her to be happy, so I’ll open a restaurant for her”
“Are you sure?”
“Of course, she helped so, so it will be my little way of helping her too.”
“I’m with you, I’ll come pick you up tomorrow, so we’ll go look for a nice building where she can start up the business”

“It’s okay Isa, its just a hug, it’s not like you kissed me and honestly even if you have I wouldn’t have any problem with it” he said

“Yes dear, I’ve to go to work early tomorrow but I promise to come pick you up in the evening okay?”

Wow, he’s so nice. I think I’m falling for him, but it’s so soon though. I can’t believe people like this still exist and I was fighting for Miguel to the extent i killed my best friend. What have I done? Jealousy is bad, if I had a way to turn the clock back I will.

The interview had started an hour ago and to be honest I don’t think any of these ladies are qualified to take care of my Abby. They all look suspicious, the all look like they came here for just the money and also Miguel.
Seriously I just want someone who will take good care of Abby, I know she’s not my daughter but she has gone through a lot to be in the hands of just anyone.
