The Africa Magic Cable Network and Movie Awards have named him one of the continent's most brilliant actors. The seasoned actor gained notoriety in the 1980s when he portrayed Okonkwo in the major role in the NTA production of Things Fall Apart, the best-selling book by Chinua Achebe.
Pete Edochie is a renowned actor from Nollywood. He has worked for more than 39 years in the Nigerian film industry. In 1980, he made his acting debut in the film Things Fall Apart as Okonkwo.
