My thoughts didn’t last long and I realized that I was crying. I was actually making no sound because I didn’t want Jude to be aware but the tears streamed out of my eyes. Why was I crying? I rose and walked to the window just in time to see Jude unlocking the door of his car. I saw him pull something out of his pocket, stare at it for a while before entering his car and driving off.
