“Emerald, come over here ” my mom yelled waking me up from my dream

I opened one eyes and checked the wall clock
It was 11:00Am

I woke up late again
I staggered to the dining room and saw my mom and dad eating as I sat beside my dad

“you this lazy bone how long are you going to be sleeping at home without going to school? ” my mom asked

“that’s why I told to register me to a talent school, you know i love mosic?” I said and my mom shook her head

“it’s music not mosic ” she said and I looked at my dad who wasn’t interested in whatever we were saying

“Dad, are you okay? ” i
Asked but he just ignored me

“Emerald, I registered you to a talent school ” my mom said and I jumped up in excitement

“Oh mom, thanks so much I’m very greetful ” I said with a smile and she shook her head again

“it’s grateful not greetful” she said and I rolled my eyes
“whatever, I’m so happy right now, dad wat do you think ?” I asked my dad but he dropped his spoon and walked to the room

I wanted to follow him but my mom stopped me
“I will talk to him ” she said and walked to the room while I stood at the door to eavesdrop

“what has this girl done to you? Why do you hate her so much? Is it her fault that she’s a girl? ” my mom yelled at him

“I never said I hate her, all I know is that she is never going to that talent school you registered her to” he said and walked out of the room angrily

I sighed as I walk back to my room and sat on the bed
The door opened and my mom entered
“Emerald, don’t worry you are starting that school tomorrow, you can’t continue to stay at home all day ” she said and I nod

“I was told you will be having an audition so as to allow you to stay in the school ” she said and I jerked up

“Audition? Why do they need an audition to allow us stay In their school? Are they carazy or what? ” I half yelled and my mom shook her head again

“it’s crazy not carazy, anyways get ready for the audition, practice a song and sing it for them tomorrow ” she said and turned to go but she stopped again

“go talk to your father” she said and I walked outside and saw him repairing his car

“dad ” I called and he looked at me then he continued what he was doing
I walked up to him and went on my knees
“dad, please let me go to the audition tomorrow, if I fail, I promise to come back and do whatever you want but if I don’t ,I’m going to stay in the school” I said

“get up ” he said
“No, let me be like this ” I said and he sighed

“Alright, let’s do it like that, if you fail you must come back and do whatever I want you to do ” he said and I smiled

“thanks dad, you are the bast ” I smiled broadly

“it’s best not bast, you can go now ” he said and continue wat he was doing as I ran back inside

Yeah I’m confident
I will surely pass that audition

The next day i put on my best cloth and ran to the bus stop

I was practicing the song I’m gonna sing inside the bus that people thought I was crazy

I checked the Time and it was 10:27Am
I gasped as I ran as fast as I could

I was foolish, I didn’t even check the time

My audition was going to take place by 10:00 am but I was 27 minutes late
I was still running when someone bumped into me making my bag to fall

But he didn’t even look at me and continue to go on his way

“you ” I yelled and everyone looked at me
It’s like he was here for the audition too

He turned to me and I couldn’t believe my eyes

Is his an idol or what
His Face was smooth and he had no make up done

His lips was naturally pink without any lipstick and his eyes was blue
He looks like a water god
His handsomeness Is natural
I give him 100 points

He continued to stare at me then I finally got back to my real sef

“you? You bumped into me, you are supposed to do something about it, either you apologize or help me pack my bag ” I swallowed hard

He was just starring at me which i found embarrassing

Why is he starring instead of helping me

“can’t you hear me? ” I asked then I noticed he had his earpiece on

“will you please remove those earpiece?” I asked but to my greatest shock, he turned and left

I turned and saw a girl of my age beating up two boys

“she should have gone to martial art school, why is she here ” I murmured to myself

I was told to enter the place i was going to sing and i saw three judges sitting down

“hi, I’m Emerald park and I’m 17 years old ” I said with a smile but I was feeling so nervous

“you are late ” one of the judges said
“I’m sorry for That, I lost my Way when coming ” I lied

“what are you good at?” the judge sitting at the middle asked

“I can sing, I have the voice ” I said and they all nod
“why don’t you sing for us, for us to know if you are gonna be a student here or not ” the judge sitting at the left side who was a male said and this made me more scared

I remembered what I told my father as i gather up the courage
I’m going to stay in this school

I smiled as i completed the song
“I give a pass ” one of the judges sitting at the right said
She was a lady

“I give her a fail ” the one sitting in the left side said and my smile faded away
“why do you give her fail? Her voice is sweet, she sounded just like Ariana Grande when she was singing ” the lady said and I blushed then I looked at the man in the middle

“director ,Wat are you giving her? ” they asked as i starred at him with my heart beating fast

Please, don’t let me fail

“I give her……… ” the director Said and I held my breath
