“Naomi, will you marry me”.

Susan smiles

And Naomi’s eyes went wide open in shock.

“What’re you doing Naomi, go ahead and say yes”. Susan said smiling.

Finn smiles and tries to insert the ring in middle finger, but Naomi quickly took her hand from him.

“Am sorry Finn, but I can’t marry you”. She said.

And Susan fuels in anger.

“And why not Naomi!!”. Susan yells.

“Because I don’t love him mom, how can I get married to someone I don’t love, we aren’t even together”. Naomi said.

“And what’s so wrong in getting married to Finn, what’s so wrong in it!!”.

“You can’t tell me who to get married to mom”. Naomi said.

And Susan slaps her so hard on the face.

“Naomi”. Finn muttered.

Naomi without saying a word to any of them ran out of the house.

“Naomi come back here!!”. Susan yells.

Alex opens the door of his house, and he looked a bit surprised to see Naomi.

“Love, wh…..”

Naomi cut him short with a hug.

“What’s wrong Love”.

“I just want to be in your arms”. Naomi said as balls of tears falls down her eyes.

“Finn proposed to you”. Alex asked few minutes later.

“Yes he did, I was surprised when he proposed to me, we already talked about this, and he said it was ok with him just being friends with me, I was caught off guard when he proposed to me a while ago, and my mom wanted me to accept it”. Naomi said between tears.

Alex cleans her tears with his thumb.

“Stop crying Nomi”.

“I can’t help it Xander, she even slapped me, just because I turned down Finn’s proposal, is you I love, so why can’t she just accept that, why does she keep pushing me to do things I don’t want to do”. Naomi said crying.

And Alex hugs her.

“Don’t cry anymore Nomi, you might develop a headache”.

And Naomi hicups in tears.

“Ain’t you hurt that my mom wants me to get married to Finn”.

“Yes I’m, am very hurt that your mom wants someone else for you, but it ease the pain cos you love me”.

Naomi wraps her hands around his waist, caging her head on his shoulder.

“I love you so much Alex”.

Alex smiles and kiss her hair.

“I love you too Nomi, do you want me to make breakfast for you”.

“No, I want to remain in your arms like this”. She muttered adjusting her head probably on his comfortably chest.

Alex smiles and pulls her more closer to himself and they remain that way for hours.

Naomi came back home in the evening, and sees Finn pacing around the compound waiting for her.

Naomi looks at him, and she could tell he was really worried about her, and has not gone home since she left in the morning.

“Finn”.

Finn looks at her and quickly rush to her.

“Naomi am sorry about what I did ealier, am sorry”. He apologizes with misty eyes.

“Why did you do it, I told you I don’t love you, and you said it was ok with you if we remain friends, so why”.

“Your Mom talked me into it Naomi, when I told her I love you, she insisted we get married right away”.

“And you agreed to that, how can I just wake up one morning and get married to you Finn, is that even possible”.

“Am sorry Naomi, your mom slapped you because of me, am so sorry please forgive me”.

Naomi looks at him, her heart was just too tender to hold a grudge.

“Fine, I forgive you”.

“Really”. Finn asked smiling.

And Naomi nods.

Finn tries to hug her, but Naomi shifts backwards and Finn withdraws his hands.

“What you did today, should never happen again, alright”.

And Finn slowly nods his head.

“Where have you been Naomi”. Susan asked when she entered the house, Finn left already.

“I just wanted to be alone”. She answers.

“Do you possibly think simply because you turn down Finn, am going to allow you to be with Alex!”.

“Naomi if ever I found out that your secretly meeting up with that Alex guy, you’ll stop being my daughter, Finn is the only one you can love and get married to understand!!!”.

Naomi ignores her and went to her room.

“Naomi!!!”.

CAMBRIA RESTURANT***

“Are you alright Naomi, you look sad today, or have you gone back to your old sad self”. Carly asked.

Naomi smiles lightly.

“Am fine Carly, and thanks for covering up for me when I wasn’t here”.

“Is fine, thankfully our boss isn’t always here”.

Naomi let a slight smile.

“Ah that reminds me, someone came looking for you”. Carly said.

“Who”.

“I don’t know him, but his always coming here to look for you”.

Naomi arch her eyebrows thinking about who it could be.

Kingston enters the restaurant and Carly quickly tap Naomi.

“His here again”.

Naomi looks at Kingston, wondering why he was always here to ask for her.

“Hi Naomi”. He said smiling.

Naomi puzzled her face.

“Why’re you always coming to the restaurant to look for me sir Kingston”. Naomi asked.

“Just call me Kingston Naomi, you don’t have to talk formal”.

“What with this new ways of yours, why’re you always at the restaurant to look for me”. Naomi asked.

Kingston looks at her, and he couldn’t help but find her so cute right now, it was like her glasses were perfectly made for her.

He smiles, making Naomi arch her eyebrows.

“I just want us to be friends Naomi”.

“And after what you tried to do to me, what makes you think I’ll accept your friendship”.

“Am sorry if I tried to rape you that day, I lost it because I find you so attracting, let’s leave the past behind us and start a new”.

“That’s the last thing am ever going to do sir Kingston”.

“Why Naomi, is it because of Alex, his not even your boyfriend, or are you both together now”. Kingston asked.

Naomi stood to her feet.

“My life is none of your business sir Kingston, and don’t ever come to the restaurant to ask of me”.

She tries to leave, but Kingston held her hand.

“Naomi, can’t we atleast be friends, if you can be friends with Alex, why can’t you do thesame with me”.

“Because your so far different from him”. Naomi said.

She takes her hand from him, and leaves.

Kingston looks at her and smiles.

“She’s driving me crazy even more”.

Vivi’s eyes continues to scan the pictures in her hand angrily.

It was a picture of Kingston and Naomi being together, pictures taken by Diego.

Vivi squeeze the picture where Kingston held Naomi’s hand and screams.

“How long have he been seeing her”. She asked angrily.

“All I know is that he has always been going to that resturant, I always wondered why, but I was able to verify my questions today, when I saw he and Naomi together”.

Vivi screams angrily.

“What’re you going to do with her ma’am”.

“How dare she try to go close to my man, how dare she!!!!!…Diego”.

“Yes ma’am”.

“You know what to do right”. She said.

Diego nods and leaves.

Vivi takes her phone from her bag and calls Emilia.

“Hello Aunt, I need your help”.

CAMBRIA RESTURANT***

Naomi came out from the restaurant and sees Alex standing by his car.

She smiles and went to him.

“Love”. She said hugging him.

Alex smiles breathing in her beautiful fragment.

Naomi broke the hug few seconds later and looks at him.

“So what brings my prince charming here”.

“That’s because I want to take my princess charming on a date, I figured out we haven’t gone on one, since we started dating”.

“So where do you want to take your princess charming to”. She asked blinking.

“Is a surprise”. Alex answers and pecks her lips, Naomi smiles.

“You didn’t say anything to Finn today’s right”. She asked.

“No I didn’t, but believe me I wanted to confront him for proposing to my girlfriend, but I tried to hold myself not to”.

“Good boy”. She said caressing his hair, Alex smiles.

“So shall we”.

Naomi nods.

Alex opens the car for her, before entering the car too.

Finn just watch as the car drove off in front of him.

“Sir Alex, what is he doing here and why did Naomi leave with him”

“What’s so funny Nomi, your smile haven’t leave your face even for once”.

“That’s because am so excited on going on a date you”.

“You’ve never gone on dates before”. He asked.

“I’ve”. She said.

And Alex stops the car.

“Why did you stop the car”. Naomi asked.

“Who did you go on a date with”.

Naomi chuckles.

“Are you being jealous right now”. She asked between smiles.

“Yes I’m, very jealous, who’s he…his he more handsome than me”.

Naomi looks at him and laughs.

“I was only jocking Xander”.

“Really”.

And Naomi nods laughing.

“Your really a jealous boyfriend Alex, I was only pulling your leg and you indeed fell for it, your face ealier was good to kill”. She said laughing.

“You little thing”. Alex said roughing her hair playfully.

Naomi smiles.

“Can we go already”. She pouted.

Alex kiss her instead.

Both tested and tasted each other’s lip, before pating away to caught their breath.

“Don’t ever look at any other guy apart for me alright”. Alex said caressing her face.

Naomi wanted to tell him about Kingston, but she choose not to inorder not to worry him.

He was about starting the car again, when their phone ringed at thesame time.

“Hello Mom, what’s wrong”. Alex asked.

“You want me to come back to the restaurant”. Naomi asked.

“Alright then I’ll”. Both said at once.

They ended the call and look at each other.

“My boss wants me back in the restaurant”.

“I thought your shift ended”.

“No it didn’t, Carly was just too kind to take my place, she has a nagging mom at home, and doesn’t want to go home early…what about you”.

“My mom wants me back home, it’s seems she really needs me”. Alex said.

“Then you should go to her”.

“But I really wanted to go on a date with you”. Alex pouted.

“We can go on a date tomorrow Xander, I’ve nothing to do at the restaurant”.

“When will you stop working there, should I get you a job”.

And Naomi shakes her head.

“No don’t, it’ll just warrant more suspicion on how I got a benefiting job, just take me back to the restaurant, and we can go on a date tomorrow”. Naomi said.

“Am going to call you”. Alex said and Pecks her.

Naomi nods.

Alex watch her as she enters the resturant, before driving back home.

“I wonder why mom called”.

Naomi enters the resturant, she looks around and they was no sign of anybody around.

“Where’s everyone…Carly”. She called.

The light went off, and Naomi gasps in shock.

Someone hits her from behind.

THE MELENDEZ’S MANSION***

“Mom, you called for me”. Alex said entering the house.

“Yes I did, is because I want you to have dinner with me, I came up with a new recipe, so I want you to be the first person to taste it”. Emilia said.

“Mom, can I taste it next time, I’ve to go back”. Alex said turning to leave, but Emilia held him.

“Don’t turn me down Alex I personally made this food for you, don’t tell me am not important to you, for you to ditch me to meet someone else”. Emilia and faking some sadness.

Alex sighs.

“Fine, lemme just call someone”. Alex said and made to call Naomi, but Emilia took the phone from him.

“You can do that later, but let’s eat first”. She said forcefully pulling him to the dinning table.

“It taste yummy right”. Emilia asked.

And Alex nods.

Emilia smirks.

*Let’s see if you’ll ever be able to save your precious Naomi from Vivi’s wrath, how dare she try to come between Kingston and Vivi*. She said inwardly.

Alex looks at her and she smiles genuinely.

If not for Autopsy, Emilia will have poison Alex a long time ago.

Water splash on Naomi’s face and she wakes up gasping.

“Your finally back from the land of the dead”. Vivi said walking towards Naomi as her heels sings rhymes on the floor.

Naomi looks at her.

“Who’re you”. She asked weakling.

“Oh, that’s right, I forgot we haven’t fully introduce ourselves, am Vivian Rodriquez, but you can just call me Vivi”

Naomi looks at her.

“My friend happens to own the restaurant you work in, so I just told her I needed to talk to you”.

“What do you want from me”. Naomi asked.

Vivi bends closer to her, and slaps her so hard on the face.

Naomi’s glasses fell from her eyes and it cranked.

Her lips got wounded as a result of the ring Vivi was wearing.

Vivi drags Naomi’s hair and she yelps in pain.

“I didn’t want to get involved with you, but I guess you and danger are one, that’s why you keep being in danger”.

“What have I done to you”. Naomi asked already crying, and she hates herself right now for being weak.

“Am sure you know Kingston right, you’re not even beautiful to be swayed by him”.

“I have nothing to do with him”.

“I know and that’s why your still breathing right now, this is just my warning to you Naomi, if I ever see you anywhere around Kingston I won’t spare your life”.

“His the one who keeps coming after me”.

And Vivi slaps Naomi so hard on the cheek, her face turns red, and Vivi held Naomi’s jaw forcefully, Naomi yelped in pain.

“So what’re you trying to say, that’s your more s*xier than me huh!!”.

And Naomi shakes her head, hicupping in tears.

“Am warning you Naomi, I kill whosoever tries to come into Kingston’s life, and I won’t hesitate to do that do you, if you keep condoling him anytime he approach, stay away from my boyfriend understand!!”.

And Naomi nods hicupping in tears.

“How dare that whore do this to you Naomi, she’s going to get it from me”. Bre said trying to leave, but Naomi held her.

“Please don’t Bre”.

“And why not, your lips are bruised up, your glasses are cracked thanks to her, you ain’t even dating her stupid boyfriend and she did this to you, she needs to know you gat a crazy friend”. Bre ranted.

“I don’t want any trouble Bre”.

“You weren’t not the one who started this, and can you please stop crying, this is the reason why people always step on you because you always cry”. Bre scorns her.

Naomi hicups in tears.

“Please don’t do anything stupid Bre, I don’t want any trouble”.

“And what about your mom, you think she won’t ask why your glasses got cracked and why your lips are wounded”.

“I’ll just find a lie to tell her, we ain’t even in good terms because of what Finn did”.

“What did he do”.

“I don’t want to talk about it”.

“What about Alex”.

“He doesn’t need to know about this”.

Alex came down from the car, his eyes scans the resturant from outside.

“Did she leave already”.

He called her, but her phone was switched off.

He was about calling her again, when Bre sent a picture of Naomi with bruised lips and broken glasses.

And he called quickly called Bre.

“Bre, what was the picture about, who the heck did that to Naomi!!”.

“It was Vivi, she thinks Kingston likes Naomi”.

Alex ends the call, he enters his car and drove off angrily to Vivi’s lounge.

“Alex, what a surprise to….”

She was cut short with a mighty slap from Alex.

She fell and hits her head on the couch, her forehead turn red immediately.

“Are you crazy why….”.

Alex slaps her again and chocked her neck, making Vivi gasps.

“Who ever gave you the right to touch Naomi!!!”.

“she’s…”

Alex slaps her again.

“Am still talking!!”. He yells and pulls her hair forcefully, Vivi yelps in pain, bleeding from her lips.

“No one touches my girlfriend, and live to tell the story”. Alex said and takes a knife from the table.

“How about I cut off this wrenched hands of yours, you used on her”. Alex said with tons of anger in his eyes.
