★ ( SHE’S MY MOONSHINE ) ★

Alex keeps pacing around as he continues calling Naomi’s phone non-stop.

His eyes were already shedding misty tears, as he kept hoping for her to pick.

“Please Naomi, pickup”. He begged.

Calvin and Natasha looks at him.

“Can you calm down a little bit”. Natasha said.

“I can’t calm down Nat, her mom already knows we’re together, and Naomi once told me ma’am Susan is so scary when she’s angry”. Alex said.

“But stop crying Alex, crying won’t solve the situation at stake”. Calvin said.

And Natasha nods in support.

“I can’t help it Calvin, am going insane right now”. Alex said running his hands through his hair.

Calvin and Natasha looks at him, they’ll have gotten mad at him, for keeping Naomi being his girlfriend a secret, but they didn’t knowing the situation.

“Is all my fault, I should’ve done something, I shouldn’t have let her mom take her home without doing anything, what if she does something mean to Naomi”. Alex cries.

“Stop crying Alex, how about we go to her house, to know what’s going on”.

Alex sniffs back his tears.

Calvin pulls him from the ground, and a call came from Bre.

“Hello Bre”. He said cleaning his tears.

“Hello sir Alex, is Naomi”.

“W….what happened to Naomi Bre”. Alex said shaking fearfully.

“She’s in the hospital”.

Alex’s eyes wide opened in shock and more tears rushed out from his eyes.

HOSPITAL***

“How’s she doctor”. Susan asked looking at Naomi from the glass wall.

“She sustain a deep cut in her forehead, due to the fall, she’ll be okay, but have to remain in the hospital for some days”.

“When will she wake up”. Brielle asked.

“That am not sure of, we just have to wait”. The doctor said and leaves.

Brielle walks closer to the glass wall, caressing it.

She looks at Naomi’s face bruised up and tears falls down her eyes.

“Brielle”. Susan said trying to touch her, but Brielle jerks her hand off.

“Don’t you dare touch me witch, are you happy now, Naomi is in the hospital thanks to you!”.

“I didn’t mean to hurt her Brielle”.

“But you still did, what wrong did Naomi do, she only choose to date the man she loves and you had to treat her like she was some kind of trash, just because you know Naomi is weak and can’t stand up against you, you took advantage of her weakness, what’s wrong in being with the person who makes you happy, if your mom has denied you the privilege of being with dad, will you’ve found happiness!!”. Brielle yells at her.

“Brielle a sorry, I was only looking at for Naomi, you know what she passed through because of the Melendezs right, I don’t want her to be a part of their lives”. Susan cries.

“Stop using that as an excuse Mom, you only want her to get married to Finn…..Dad is way better than you mom, and I was right after all, your indeed the worst mom ever, if I and Naomi could choose our birth mom, you won’t and will never birth us!!”. Brielle yells and ran out of the hospital.

“Brielle, am sorry”. Susan cries falling to the floor.

Bre bangs on Finn’s door angrily, and when he finally opened the door, she punch him so hard on the face.

“Are you sick!!”. He yells.

“Your the one who’s a sociopath here Finn, how could you’ve done that to Naomi, why did you tell Aunt Susan about she and sir Alex!!!”.

“Because it was the right thing to do”.

Bre scoffs angrily.

“Really, right to do, thanks to what you did, Naomi is in the hospital!!”.

And Finn looks at her.

“Yes Finn, you heard me right, Susan beat up Naomi until she landed her in the hospital, if she was my mom, she dare not do that to me, but thanks to a no good friend like you, Naomi’s in the hospital, do you possibly think she’s going to love and get married to you after what you did, she’s won’t consider you as a friend!!”. Bre yells.

“But despite that you still have feelings for me right”.

And Bre looks at him surprisedly.

“I know you’ve feelings for me Bre, I know your wishing I could look at you instead of Naomi, I’ve always known your heads over heels for me Bre, I just choose to turn a blind eye to it, cos is Naomi am forever going to love not a wasted product like you”.

Bre slaps him.

“You’ve no right to call me names simply because my stupid heart choose to have feelings for a worthless jerk like you, you may not know this, but once I set my mind on something, even my stupid heart can stop me from doing what I want to do, you know what I regret the most, is longing for your stupid love, you just proved to me that you ain’t worth my or any other girl’s love, because if you love someone, your priority will be to make them happy, am going to forget about ever falling for a jerky guy like you”. Bre said.

She turns to leave, but stops halfway.

“And just so you know, you can never separate sir Alex and Naomi cos you know why, they’re destiny hearts meant to be together, so even you or her mom won’t be able to stop them…..if it hurts you a lot, drink sniper and die”. Bre said and leaves.

Finn yells, hitting his hands on the wall.

It bleeds furiously, but Finn didn’t care, he kept hitting his hands on the wall crying.

BAR***

Bre Keeps drinking nonstop, as Finn’s words kept penetrating Inside her ear.

She felt like dieing back then, she was only trying to act strong, cos she was someone who don’t easily show her weakness to someone, especially to the opposite s*x.

She continues drinking, and when she was taken over by alcohol, she blurry went to the dance floor.

She screams and dance so sexily.

Bre was an expert when it comes to dancing, she has won many awares back then in highschool.

She wasn’t the celebrity life freek, that’s why she hasn’t become a celebrity dancer.

She kept screaming and dancing, gaining the attention of every guy in the bar.

A guy came to know, knowing the fact that she’s in the influence of alcohol.

“Hi beautiful”. He said touching her b**bs.

Bre jerks his hands off blurry.

But the guy touch her again.

“Stop touching me”. Bre whines drunkly.

“How about I take you somewhere romantic”.he whispers to her, squeezing her b**bs.

“I said stop touching me!”.she halfyells drunkly and slaps him.

The guy was about slapping her back, when someone held his hand from behind.

“Who’re you, let go of me”. The Guy rant.

The second Guy looks at Bre who was still staggering drunkly.

“If you don’t want to loose your teeth disappear from her sight”. He said with an intensifying voice.

The first Guy leaves quickly seeing the grumpy look on his face.

Bre screams and was about landing on the floor, but he quickly caught her.

Bre looks at him and smile.

“Are my in heaven already, is that why am seeing a handsome angel”. She said giggling, touching his smooth face.

“Your face is so smooth are you really human”. She said smiling.

He looks at her and chuckles.

He was still holding her, preventing her from landing on the floor.

“Why’s a beautiful girl like you getting herself drunk”.

“You…you think am beautiful”. She asked.

“Yes you’re, so beautiful”.

“Then why can’t he love me, how dare he say am a wasted product, his so mean”. Bre said breaking into tears.

And he knew exactly that Bre was suffering from a heart break.

He help her stand to her feet and cleans her tears.

“Stop wasting your tears for him, his not worth it”.

Bre looks at him and giggles.

“Are you an angel, cos your the most handsome guy I’ve seen”.

He smiles.

“Really”.

And Bre nods her head drunkly.

“What’s your name”. He asked.

“Brenda”.

“Brenda”. He asked.

“But you can call me Bre”. She said and falls on his shoulder.

He looks at her, and she was already fast asleep.

“Who’s she sir Lucas”. The hotel manager asked when Lucas place the sleeping Bre on the bed.

Lucas looks at her and smiles.

“She’s my Moonshine”.

“Huh”.

Lucas looks at him.

“She’s heavily drunk, so make sure you prepared a hangover soup for her tomorrow and make sure she doesn’t leave without eating ok”.

And he nods.

“You can go”. Lucas said.

The manager nods and leaves.

Lucas took off the sneakers Bre was wearing and covers her with the duvet.

He sits beside her.

“She’s so beautiful”. He muttered caressing her face.

He looks at her small round lips, her eyelashes were the longest and fullest one he has ever seen.

“I wonder who the jerk is that broke your heart Brenda”. He muttered still caressing her face softly.

His phone ring, and it was call from his Mom.

“Hello Mom”.

“Where’re you son, we’ll be late for our flight”.she said over the phone.

“I just stopped by the hotel mom, I’ll be there before you count to three….I’ll”. Lucas said and ends the call.

“I hope we get to see each other again, my Moonshine”. He said.

He Pecks her forehead, and looks at her for sometime, before leaving the room.

“Elle”. Jason calls her.

And Brielle hugs him tightly, crying in his arms.

“Are you alright Elle, why’re you crying, is Naomi seriously wounded”. He asked worriedly.

Brielle broke the hug cleaning her tears.

“No she’s not, but she hasn’t woken up yet, I just feel so bad for her Jason, she has always done everything my mom tell her to do without complaining, this is the first time she’ll be going against her, and she had to land my poor sister in the hospital she’s so cruel, she’s a worthless mother”. Brielle said crying.

And Jason hugs her.

“That’s enough Elle, stop crying”. He said patting her.

Brielle wet his shoulder with her tears.

“Do you want to go out”. Jason asked few minutes later when Brielle has stopped crying.

“Where”.

“Anywhere…how about we go to the game station, playing games will help you forget about your problems for a while, it always works for me, so I have no doubt is going to work for you too”.

Brielle looks at him and smiles.

“Thanks Jason, thanks for always being there anytime I need someone to talk to”.

Jason smiles.

“Jason, there’s something you’ve to know, I know this is not the right time to say it, judging from the fact that my sister is in the hospital, but I just feel like saying it to you”.

“What’s it Elle”.

“Jason I….”

Brielle was caught short by the ringing of Jason’s phone.

“Hello Giselle”. He said.

And Brielle frowns.

“You mean now”. He said and looks at Brielle.

Brielle stood up and walks away.

“Hold on Giselle, I’ll call you back”. he ends the call and went after Brielle.

“Elle”.

“I don’t want to be the reason why you can’t meet up with her, you both already made plans to meet up before right”.

“Yes we did but…”

“Just go to her and leave me alone”. Brielle and walks away.

Jason looks at her and sighs.

He dials Giselle’s number.

“Let’s meet up”.

SAME DAY~HOSPITAL***

Alex slowly enters Naomi’s ward, he has been in the hospital since Bre called him, he was just waiting for the perfect time, so Susan won’t see him.

“Love”. He muttered holding her hand.

Seeing the bruises on her face hurts him so much, he felt like he was the one who had the bruises she had.

If not that Susan was Naomi’s mom, what he’ll have done to her will be more worst than what Vivi got from him.

“Love, am right here, can you please open your eyes, you promised you won’t get hurt, so open your eyes before I go insane”. Alex said between tears, caressing her face.

Naomi slowly opens her eyes.

“Nomi”.

“Xander”. She muttered.

“Are you alright, are you feeling pains anywhere”. He asked worriedly.

Naomi tries to sits up on the bed, and Alex assisted her in doing so.

“Am fine Xander”.

“Am sorry Nomi, sorry I let your mom hurt you this way without doing anything about it”.

Naomi smiles and cleans his tears.

“You ain’t at fault Alex, don’t blame yourself”.

Alex hugs her.

“Am so sorry love, am sorry”.

Naomi smiles, staying put in his arms.

“You won’t break up with me right”. He asked.

Naomi broke the hug and looks at his misty eyes.

“Don’t get scared Alex, I won’t break up with you, no matter what happens, I won’t ever break up with you, your my everything Alex”.

“Your world, my world will be meaningless without you, if I’ve to go on my knees and beg your mom, just so she can accept me as your boyfriend I’ll do it, am ready to do anything, because I love you so much Naomi”. Alex with eyes filled with emotions and tears.

Naomi smiles and hugs him.

“I love you so much too Alex”.

Alex tighten his arms around her sniffing back his tears.

Susan place her back on the wall, sniffing back her tears.

Yes she’s trying to protecting her daughter, but shouldn’t her daughter’s happiness come first.

And the innocent boy wasn’t at fault for the things that happened to Naomi, why’s she always realizing her mistakes after hurting her daughters, Susan thought inwardly as more tears falls down her eyes.

She cleans her tears and enters the ward, Alex and Naomi seperated from each other on seeing her.

“Mom”. Naomi Muttered.

Alex quickly went on his knees.

“Aun…..ma’am, I know you hate me because of what Naomi went through because of me, but am not ready to let her go, I love her so much ma’am, she’s my joy, my heartbeat, my world and the reason why I keep living, am begging ma’am, please allow us to be together, and I promise you, I won’t hurt her, am going to protect her with everything I got, even if it means dieing in the process, she won’t go through what she experienced before, is a promise ma’am, please am begging you with everything that breathes air, allow us to love each other the way we want to, and you won’t regret having a son in-law like me”. Alex said with dropping tears.

Naomi was just looking at him, crying slowly.

“Are you sure your going to protect my daughter, and you won’t ever give her reasons to cry”. Susan asked.

And Alex nods.

“I won’t ma’am is a promise”. He muttered.

“Get up”. She said.

And Alex looks at her.

“Get up”. Susan said again.

And Alex reluctantly stood to his feet.

Susan walks closer to him, and Alex shifts backwards thinking she might want to do something cruel to him.

But to his almost surprised, Susan hugs him, also shocking the living daylight out of Naomi.

“Welcome to our family son-in-law”. She said and Alex’s eyes wide opened in shock.

Susan broke the hug.

“Am going to give you a try Alex, I won’t be a hindrance to your love for each other, but please don’t her pregnant, she’s just 22”.

“Mom”. Naomi muttered covering her face.

“I won’t Ma’am”.

“Can me Mom from now on, since your dating my daughter, you should call me mom”.

And Alexis nods smiling.

“Naomi, am sorry for what I did do you”. Susan apologize.

Naomi smiles at her.

“Thanks Mom for approving Alex to be my boyfriend”.

Susan smiles.

“I’ll be at the lobby if you both need anything just call me ok”.

“Alright ma’….Alright mom”. Alex said.

Susan smiles and Leaves.

Alex and Naomi smiles at each other before coiling their body together in a tight hug.

“I love you so much my Nomi”.

“I love you too my Xander”.

Alex broke the hug, and claims her lips, a kiss filled with love, desire, possession and undying Affection.
