✨ CHAPTER 8 ✨

Adena was curious about what she had seen last night. Why was Logan behaving the way he did? What kind of nightmare could have possibly made him twist and turn on the bed like that?

She didn't care about him or his troubles, she hated him. But she really wanted to know what was happening. Adena has always been a curious right from childhood and it had gotten her into trouble several times.

“Adena, I brought your food” Liliana entered Adena's room carrying a bowl of hot soup. Adena gagged when she smelt the concoction.

“What is that? I'm not eating that” she folded her arms and pouted. Liliana smiled and dropped the bowl beside the bed. She sat next to Adena and gently inspected the wounds on her back.

“Ouch, that hurts!” Adena exclamation when Liliana touched her wound.

“Oh, sorry dear. But how do you expect the wounds to heal without the proper medication?” Liliana asked but Adena scoffed.

“Heal? What's the point? Logan is going to go ahead and inflict more wounds anyway” she rolled her eyes. Then she remembered the scene she saw last night.

“Speaking about Logan, I saw him last night. He was acting strange in his sleep” she said.

“Strangely?” Liliana asked, pretending not to know what was wrong.

“Yes, like he was having a seizure or something.. or a very scary nightmare” Adena explained.

“Oh.. well.. I don't know what you're talking about” Liliana lied. She knew very well what was happening to Logan, it has been going on for years.

“I'm sure you do” Adena said, looking at her intensely.

“Somethings are better left unsaid..” Liliana sighed.

“Besides, why do you care, you said you hate him” Liliana asked.

“Of course, I hate him, I don't care what he's going through, just curious” Adena shrugged.

“Just eat your soup, it'll help you heal faster” Liliana changed the topic and handed her the bowl of soup. Adena gagged again and hesitantly took it from her.

“Good girl” Liliana smiled as Adena put a spoonful in her mouth.

“I'll check on you later” she said and left the room. Liliana was worried about Logan, these nightmares have haunted him for years, it seemed to be getting worse. She wished for something to set him free from the darkness he is in.

It didn't shock Adena when Buster came to her room and told her that Logan needed her. She felt sorry for what her life had become. She wished for death to come and take away her misery.

She didn't want to go through the cruel punishment again, so she had no choice but to obey.

Adena entered Logan's room and met him gulping down a bottle of alcohol. His eyes were red and he staggered a bit. She realized he was drunk. She was a bit relieved, thinking that he wasn't going to be so harsh since he was drunk.

But little did she know, how dangerous Logan was, when he was intoxicated.

“What are you waiting for? Do I need to remind you again, why you're here?” He asked, in a deep husky voice.

Adena undressed and went straight to his desk and laid there waiting for him. She had lost hope. This was her fate and she had accepted it.

Logan dropped the bottle on his side stool, and approached Adena. He grabbed some rope that was lying beside his bed and to Adena's surprise, he tied her hands behind and grabbed his whip.

“Please Logan, please don't whip me again. Please” Adena started to beg. She was scared of his whip, she was terrified of him and the things he did.

Logan never has pity on anyone, he did whatever to whoever he pleases without remorse or regret. So Adena's pleas meant nothing to him. Infact, he loved it when his prey begged him.

Adena realized that Logan was even more deadly when drunk. He raised the whip and it landed on her bare back.. the same back that has been bleeding for days now. Adena yelled out in pain and tears ran down her cheeks.

He whipped her two more times before finally plunging into her sore private part, he f*cked her harshly until her screams could be heard throughout the whole house. Adena cried and wailed, her hatred for her master blossomed. She despises him more than she despises her pitiful life.

“Mother.. he's at it again. He's doing it to her again” Antoinette was crying. Liliana could only sigh. There was nothing she could do. Logan didn't listen to her anymore.

“Master is heartless! Heartless!” Antoinette cried and ran out of the house, unable to bear the loud wailing of her friend, she was heartbroken.

After Logan had his way with Adena, he called in Buster to take her to her room, since she was in no condition to walk.

Liliana wanted to take care of Adena, but Adena locked her door and asked Liliana to go away. She wanted to be alone.. possibly forever. She was brewing intense hatred for Logan.. she would kill him if she ever got the opportunity. She would kill him and watch him bleed.

💢 Unknown location 💢

“What more do you want? I've given you virtually everything I own. My money, my wealth and my body. My inheritance has been transferred to you. Do you want me to die before you stop blackmailing me?” Delaney caught herself crying in front of her tormentor.

He was her worst nightmare. He was the only one who knew the secret that she had managed to hide so well for many years. She regrets this everyday, that he saw her.

“I won't ever leave you alone Delaney, what you did so many years ago, the atrocity you committed years ago, affected me too. And it will haunt you, I will be your shadow and I will torment you, until you die” he grinned widely.

Tears fell from Delaney's eyes. She wished she could stab him.. but she was surrounded by his guards. One wrong move, they would blow her head off.

“Please, please I beg you. Don't reveal anything to anyone. Especially not Logan! Please!” Delaney fell at his feet, pleading. He was the one person, apart from Logan that could make her beg like that.

“Get out Delaney and be ready when I summon you” he said and turned his back on her. Delaney dried her tears and got up from the floor.

“Fine” she sniffed and left the building.

“I need to get him off my back. I need to think of something before he ruins everything for me” she thought as she made her way to her car.

💢 Damon's House 💢

Damon was restless, he couldn't stop thinking about Camilla, and he can't control his urge to have s3x either. Camilla had put him in a tough spot, if he doesn't do her challenge, she'll never give him a chance!

“Damon! Damon!” He heard a familiar voice calling him from downstairs. He went to the staircase railing to look only to find Anastasia talking to his niece, Zoey.

“Sh*t!” He cursed.

“Not this annoying b*tch! I can't believe she's back” he groaned.

“Damon!!” Anastasia's screeching voice came again when she looked up and saw him. Zoey giggled, knowing how much Damon was annoyed by Anastasia.

Zoey was Damon's late sister's only daughter. After Damon's sister and her husband were involved in an accident, he was left to take care of 12 year old Zoey.

“Um.. I'm heading out” Damon made up an excuse when Anastasia came up to meet him.

She frowned.

“Going out? But I just got here.. let me take you to the bedroom and give it to you just the way you like it” she winked. Damon was tempted.

He had slept with Anastasia on many occasions but he never had feelings for her. Infact, she only annoyed him.

“I'm sorry, I can't” Damon tried to resist.

“I have to see Logan right away” he said and left as quickly as he could to avoid any more temptations.

Anastasia was chubby quite alright, but she was se*y.

“Where is he going? He didn't even wait to hear me out” Anastasia pouted.

“Probably to see that girl” Zoey answered.

“Girl? What girl?”

“Uh.. I think he said her name was Camilla. She dared him to stay away from girls! And he's bent on doing it” Zoey giggled.

“But I doubt he can” she added and skipped away.

Anastasia was jealous. Who could it be?

This Camilla that made Damon not to look her way. Normally, he would pounce on her, but today, he rejected her.

She wanted to find out who Camilla was, Anastasia didn't want to share her ‘man'.
