King Roland's POV

‘It's a maid your highness!! A maid is in the bag!!!'..The gaurd said aloud and my eyes brightened up in bewilderment..

‘What maid?? What is he talking about??'..Gregory asked as we both walked towards the bag only for me to see Alondria all tied up with a gag around her mouth..

‘What in the world is happening here?!!'..I gasped and ordered one of my men to take off the gag in her mouth and she began panting heavily…

‘Speak'..I commanded her..

‘I…I…I don't know how I got in here your highness I swear I don't know how I got here'..She replied looking around in a somewhat confused state..

‘You don't know how?? Surely you must remember something cause I don't see how you could tie yourself'..I asked again..

‘I…I…I was at the stables cleaning horse poop the last time I remembered and now I'm here'..she replied and my brows perked up…

A maid cleaning horse poop??…

Why on Earth is that happening when I have stable men??..

‘We are so far away from the castle your highness what should we do with her??'..A guard asked and I raked my hands through my soft and silky hair..

‘Okay we can't take her back so let's take her with us,she could help with the cooking and all other things'..I replied and signaled one of the the others to give her a blanket at least cover her torn clothes..

Gosh how can a woman look so beautiful when haggard??..

‘Stop everyone let's camp here,Duke Gregory and I are going hunting'..I ordered and quickly took off my fur coat,leaving me with only breeches and a tunic I grabbed,and headed out North with Gregory..

‘Who would do something like that to her??'..He asked..

‘I don't know but I am going to—

‘I told her I wanted her to bear my child Roland'..He interrupted me and I paused immediately..

‘What?!'..

‘Well I…I…I loved her blue eyes so much that I couldn't resist but tell her that I wanted her to have my child in her womb'..He replied and I couldn't help but scoff..

‘Are you out of your mind Gregory?! A slave maid?! You want a slave maid to bear your child?! A child that would be stained with slave blood?!'..

‘You are so old fashioned Roland,you're a prince and I'm a Duke there's a difference and I asked for her hand didn't I??'..He retorted..

‘Ohhh come off it Gregory you're just saying rubbish,she is beautiful but the last thing I would do is get myself associated with a maid!!'..
