King Roland’s POV ♥️
‘I thought you love her Roland!!’..Gregory pointed out in a very loud voice and I frowned very deeply..
‘That clause is pretty much obvious Gregory what do you want??’..
‘What I want?? I want you to act like the man you are for once! You know she wouldn’t kill those maids for no good reason??’..He stated slamming his hands on my table and I stroked my chin.
‘She confessed to it Gregory and there’s nothing I can do about it’..
‘Ohhh there is something you can do about it!! There is something you can do about it but you’re just not man enough to do it Roland but if she dies just know all ties between me and you will be severed for life and that’s a promise’..He said and walked out slamming the door hard on my face..
What does everyone expect from me??..
That I release her when she fairly confessed to her crimes??..
There is nothing I can do for Alondria..
In as much as I love her she has to die..
It’s justice over love anytime and anyway which is something I can’t help..

At Night

I heard the execution bells ring and sighed deeply as two gaurds opened the cell gates and dragged me outside..
The crowd roared angrily as I was brought before them and some even threw their shoes and cast some stones at me.
‘Just do as we say Alondria and you’ll be one’..One of them whispered and I gulped hard…
The executioner was already in place and I glanced over to the Royal podium where King Roland and Princess Reana stood with smiles on their faces..
So much for his so called love..
He didn’t even bother fighting or making an effort that I even stayed alive but who cares anyway??..
He never loved me??.
He only used me as his s*x puppet and now I’m being casted away..
‘Any last words??’..The executioner asked and silence fell everywhere..
I looked around the crowd and even with tears brimming in my eyes I managed to keep a smile on my face..
‘Let’s just get this over with!’..I said and the crowd cheered on for my impending death..
‘Wait!! The law demands that the accused has a last drink of water before dying!!’..The gaurd who whispered into my ears said aloud and brought a wooden cup of water for me to drink..
‘Here drink up and you’ll be fine’..He said but what I drank wasn’t water??..
It was entirely something else..
‘Get on the log you abomination!!’..The executioner ordered and I stepped onto the log and a rope was passed around my neck..
