🌼 Amelia Lewis 🌼

I finished with the dishes and even had time to clean the kitchen and living room but Noah hasn't come out from his mother's room. I wonder what she's telling him. I feel bad knowing that Noah's mom does not like me, infact, she wants Isabella for her son.

I've never really liked Isabella. Everyone thinks she's so sweet and simple but I can see right through her, she is very smart. Hmm.

I stood up and walked in the direction of Noah's mom's room. I heard them bickering from a distance. I got closer and their words became clearer.

“Can't you see she's using you? She's got all the money in the world, why would she want to be with you?” His mom asked.

“Mom, she is not using me. Will you please calm down? The truth is that we love each other and we are going to make things work out” Noah retorts.

“Oh really?? My son, the truth is that you love her and she's just a gold digger trying to take advantage of your innocence” she snapped. I gasped as tears formed under my eyes, blurring my vision.

“Mom!! Don't call her names! I won't take that!” Noah sounded angry.

“Oh please! You better go back to Isabella and apologize, she's the only one I want for you, no one else. I don't want to see that rich fool in this house by the end of today” she warned.

I didn't know that Noah was already coming out and he caught me just outside the room, crying.

“Don't let her words get to you please..” he said. I sniffed and walked out in a hurry.

“Amy!! Amy!” He shouted, running after me. I entered the room and fell into the bed crying.

I felt his arms wrap around me, as his warm body enveloped mine. I cried even more. Not because his mother insulted me, but because I've never had to deal with rejection in this manner.

When I was in school, I got bullied a lot, taking over my father's empire meant that I didn't have to tolerate stuff like that anymore. But look at how helpless I've become.

“Amy, please don't let her get to you. She's just being a mother. I promise she will warm up to you with time” Noah whispered softly, brushing his nose against my neck. I sighed.

“It's fine, I'm not crying because of your mother's insults. I'm just unhappy about how things are going right now. I'm back to square one” I sniffed. He made me turn around to face him.

“I'm sure it won't be the case for long. You said you had a plan, let's dig in and see what the results will be” he said and I nod.

I'm going to tackle the problem from the inside. Obviously, the law is not going to help me since Peter has all of them wrapped around his fingers. I will have to fight my own way.

“Yes, we can only pray that it works” I said.

“I believe it will. Now.. fill me in on the details” he said. I sighed and started telling him how I've planned out everything in my head. He seemed impressed and assured me that he would help me out in every single way he could.

“Thank you Noah” I said, smiling softly.

“I'll do anything for you” he answered and pecked my cheek. I giggled and grabbed his collar, pulling him into a proper kiss.

….

Audrey came over later in the evening with the twins. I let them all in on the plan but Audrey seemed nervous.

“Isn't it kind of dangerous? I mean, we all know what Peter is capable of. What if he does not buy it and end up doing something terrible to you?” She asked, worried.

“Audrey, I have no choice. I have to do this. Plus, it'll be a good opportunity to discover the things I can really do with my powers” I said and she sighed.

“You worry too much Audrey, nothing is going to happen to her as long as I'm with her” Noah came out carrying a glass of water which he handed to Audrey.

“I won't let any harm come to her” he added and kissed my forehead.

“Awwn” Lisa cooed.

“So you two are like dating now?” She asked, smirking.

“I don't know if I'd say we're dating.. we're still figuring things out” I answered.

“So when are you putting the plan in motion?” Linda asks, diverting.

“Oh, tomorrow. We don't have to waste any time” I replied and she nodded.

“I can't wait to see the look on Peter's face when I make him eat mud” I said, clenching my fists.

“Feisty” Noah bit his lip and I laughed.

His mother refused to come out and stay with us. Infact, she hates seeing me. She has been bugging Noah to send me away but Noah refused and now she's angry at him too. Oh well, I'll be leaving soon so she will have the house all to herself.

🌼 Isabella Harper 🌼

I haven't been myself ever since I saw Noah with Amelia. I ended up crying all night. Now I know I should have confessed my feelings to Noah on time, maybe we would be together by now.

I honestly can't stand by and watch another woman take Noah from me. I've been waiting for years to be with him and I can't just let him slip through my fingers like this.

I haven't heard anything from Noah's mom since she went to stay with him, I'm sure she wasn't able to convince Noah so I will have to come up with a plan by myself.

I have to find a way to cause a rift between them.

I'm not usually this sinister but I can't do this! I can't lose Noah, I love him too much to let him go to another woman.

“Isabella? Isabella!!” I jerked from my thoughts when I heard my name. I looked up and saw a work friend, Susan, staring at me.

“Yeah what?” I asked and she sighed.

“I've been standing here for more than five minutes trying to talk to you.. then I found out that you weren't listening at all. What's wrong with you?” She questioned, sitting on my desk.

“Oh it's nothing..” I sigh.

“Common tell me. I'm your friend. Maybe I can help” she shrugged.

“Well, it's about a guy I like. More like, I'm in love with him but he loves another girl. I want to separate them because he belongs to me” I said and she blinked at me in surprise.

I was brave enough to say that to Susan because she's actually a badass. I've watched her kiss another guy in front of her boyfriend and the boyfriend ended up begging her!! Imagine that!

“I didn't know you had it in you Isabella. So you want to cause a rift between them? It's simple, just make sure the girl sees you in awkward positions. She'll leave him alone and he'll be all yours” Susan grinned. I can see why she's an expert.

I think I'm going to go with her idea, it's simple and sinister. At least I won't be taking any lives.

“What if it does not work?” I ask and she rolls her eyes.

“There's no way it won't work. Trust me” she winked and I nodded.

.. The next day..

🌼 Amelia Lewis 🌼

Noah and I arrived at the gate of my former house and begged the guards to let us in. One of them went in to inform Peter. He came back and told us that we can go in.

“Don't be scared, everything will go well” Noah whispered, squeezing my hand as we walked into the house. He noticed how nervous I was and I'm glad he calmed me down.

We entered the house and met Peter smoking. He had already redecorated the whole house, giving it a dark aura. Everything was in black and tints of grey. I despise grey. He smirked when he saw us and dropped his cigar in the ash tray on the table.

“What do you want?” He asked coldly.

“Peter, I came here to ask for your help” I fell at his feet, already faking tears.

“You've taken everything away from me. I don't have anything left, I'm out on the streets and can't even eat. Please employ me, I don't mind working for you, doing all your chores, I just want a roof over my head and some food. I beg you please” I continued to cry while he grinned at me, enjoying my misery.

“Please help us sir.” Noah said.

“And you are?” He asked.

“He's my cousin” I replied immediately.

“Cousin? Your uncle's son?” He questioned.

“No, from my mother's side. He came all the way from Tennessee because he needed financial help, but now, I'm helpless and so is he. Please employ us, to work for you” I pleaded and Noah fell on his knees too, pleading.

“Oh please Amelia, I know this is just one of your plans, you think you're smart” he scoffed.

“I promise I'm not planning anything. I just don't have anywhere to go” I answered.

“And your rich friends?” He raised his brow at me.

“I don't have any friends, because of how badly I treated the people around me. You're my last hope” I said and he scoffed.

“Truth is, I know you're lying. But I'm willing to believe your son story if you accept to be my s3x slave” he smirked widely and I gasp.

Oh no!!

Noah looked at me and shook his head, telling me not to accept. I bit my lip.

“Sir, can I please have a moment with my cousin?” I requested and he nodded. I took Noah by the hand and dragged him outside.

“Don't tell me you're planning to accept his dirty offer? Obviously he doesn't believe us and our plans won't work so let's forget about it and go home. We can come up with something else” Noah said in a hushed tone but he was angry.

“Calm down Noah. I think this is the only way. I have to accept” I was but he wasn't going to take it.

“No!”

“Try to reach Zack at least! You said you can mind text or something” he was going crazy.

“I've tried okay? I've been trying since last night but I can't get through. I think something is seriously wrong over there, in his kingdom” I said, sighing loudly.

“So what now?”

“I have to accept. I can't use my powers, I haven't learned how to control it, since I'm a hybrid, I can't automatically use my powers whenever I want.. I have to train” I said, rubbing my forehead.

I made a research after finding out I was a hybrid. Everything was on the internet, just that people believe it to be a myth, if only the knew how true it was.

“You can't accept this Amy, I'm going to d!e knowing that he's f*cking you all the time” he took my hand.

“It won't be for a long time. Once we're in, we will put our plan in motion and in no time, we'll be out of here” I assured and ran my fingers through his hair, trying to calm him down.

“I promise I will not rest until I get you out of this” he said and I nod.

My poor Noah, he doesn't have to suffer all this for me, he's innocent, I wish he didn't have to fall for me, at least, he won't be entangled in this.

“Whatever happens, I love you” he whispered and I sigh.

“I love you too” I answered and we go back into the house.

🌼 King Xakery/ Zack 🌼

This plague is more deadly than I thought. My mother's condition is getting worse and everyone in Fye is losing their powers, including me. I am basically useless at this point, I can't even get through to Amelia.

I've tried to use the portal but I've lost my powers so that means I will have to wait until the portal automatically opens by itself. That only happens once in a while.

I really need Amelia, her powers won't be affected since she's half human. All I need to do is train her to get control of her powers and then she will be able to save Fye. I have no doubt, she is the chosen queen.

I wonder what's going on with her, I hope she's okay, how do I even convince her to come with me to Fye and save my people?

“Joha! When is the portal opening? I need to get back to the human world immediately. My mother's life and a bunch of others are in danger” I questioned, entering her chamber. She looked weak. Everyone has been affected.

“In a few days my lord” she answered..
