Mkpuru Mmiri is an Igbo word for a drug called methamphetamine. Other street names for this drug include chalk, crank, ice, crystal, meth, and speed. It is similar to amphetamine discovered in the late 19th century, used as a nasal decongestant and a respiratory stimulator.
