CHAPTER 4

“I…I..am_”

“My boyfriend” Angela cuts in and everyone looks towards her. She walks closer to Mike intertwining there fingers together.

“He's my boyfriend…Mike is” she announced.
students started murmuring and Mike looks at her.

“What are you doing Angela?” Daniel asked obviously mad.

“I should be asking that. What do you think I'm doing Daniel? Why are you badmouthing my boyfriend here? What? A gay?” Angela scoffs. “That's absurd! If he's a gay then I'm transgender!”

It'll be better if you stay out if this” Daniel warned but Angela ignored him and face the students.

“listen guys…Everyone of you here knows I like Mike a lot fortunately he turns out to like me also. We started going out not long ago and we decide to keep it a secret. But now that this guy here is blabbering rubbish I just can't stay put since you guys seems ready to believe him. Mike and i are going out that's the truth” she announced and the students starts murmuring.

“What's she saying?”

“Going out? I thought Mike was a gay”

“Daniel what's going on here?”

“Mike is this true?” Jacq asked and Angela quickly answered.

“It's up to you to believe we own you no explaination” Angela answered and Mike looks at her in bewilderment.

“What are you doing?” He glares at her.

“Saving you of course you fool” Angela whisper to him.

“I_”

“Angela my Angel what are you saying? When did my queen becomes someone else? Why didn't I know of this?”

“Eddie…I was never your queen…I'm his alright”

“Then Daniel is lying”

“What's all these…Daniel what's your problem?”

“You guys don't probably believe her? We all know she likes Mike she's just doing this to save him”

“Mike why don't you tell us yourself. Are you really a gay or…you guys are seriously dating?” One of the students asked.

“It is not__”

Angela pinched him.

“…a lie… I'm dating Angela…” He announced and the students murmur among themselves.

“Then Daniel is the liar”

“How long has it been?”

“What a fibber you are Dan”

“I can't believe this…how dare him make a nasty accusation about Mike”

Daniel scoffs and catch Angela's arm.

“What do you think you're doing? Are you kidding me?!” He gritted tightening his grip on her.

“What are you doing? You're hurting me.. ” Angela winced.

“You seriously_” Mike pushes Daniel away and took Angela away from him.

“Why don't you give it a rest now…” Mike said and Daniel scoffs.

“I'm telling the truth you guys don't believe me! I saw it and heard it myself”

“You're really something Dan…if you're really telling the truth then give us proof”

“That…”

“You don't have any proof?”

“That…I do but…it disappeared…I had a video of it but strangely I couldn't find it on my phone. It's like someone deleted it”

“Heyyy…he's lying”

“He's just seeking for attention”

“Come on let's go…he's crazy”

Daniel rose into temper and turns to Angela.

“It's you right? It's your doings. You deleted the video!”

“I don't know what you're talking about” Angela feigns ignorance.

“Speak up! Tell them you deleted it!” Daniel snarl at Angela.

“You're crazy Dan let me go now!”

“You think doing this will cover everything…you I'll make sure to expose you two…just wait and see” Daniel threatens and marched out of there while Angela smirks to herself.

Apparently the other day at the infirmary, after Mike and Mr Kelvin left. She discovered she wasn't the only one in the infirmary that witnessed what happened.

Daniel managed to get a video coverage of them.

Though Angela was mad and sad she wasn't able to overlook it so she stalk Daniel all day till she managed to get hold of his phone when they went for sports.

His pass code was a simple one and she deleted both the videos and photos he took.

Edward looks at the both of them his expression full of hurt. He shakes his head at Angela before leaving as the students disperse also.

“Mike is this really true? You two are really together?” Jacq asked hoping for a positive answer.

“Weren't you listening earlier? Is your ears just there to shape your head? Mike is now my boyfriend. Angela's boyfriend!”

“I'm not talking to you!”

“I said it earlier jacq” Mike replied laconically and faced Angela.

“You follow me!” He grabbed her wrist and dragged her away.

“Let me go Mike you're hurting me!” Angela whimper as Mike dragged her to a secluded place.

“Ouch!” She winced as he slammed her back against the wall.

“What did hell did you just do there?” He opted unfriendly.

“I had no choice…you were in a difficult situation and I had to save you”

“Save me?” Mike sneer.

“Hey do you realize what you just did?”

“It's no big deal…we can just date”

“Are you insane? Why would I do that?”

“Then do you have any other way? I already told everyone we're dating and you confirmed it yourself”

“You…take it back if you don't wanna see me angry”

“Hey I wanted to give up on you…I really wanted to but then this happened. Do you think it's ordinary? Don't be stubborn and just deal with it”

“You must really wanna see me angry” he warned and Angela sighs.

“C'mon Mikey…are you really gonna do this? I'm trying to help you out here”

“I don't need your help. Most importantly I don't wanna get involved with you”

“Alright then…it's okay if you don't want this…I won't try to force you any longer…I'll get going now” she said with her head down while Mike back away from her.

“Do it right” he said to her.

“I will…watch me…” She smirks and Mike knew instantly that she's up to no good then right there Angela started shouting.

“Everyone big news! Mike and I aren't dating! Mike is actually a Gay! He's into guys of his own kind. Mike can't like girls.” She started yelling while Mike started chasing her around telling her to stop.

“Hey what are you doing?! Shut it!”

“Mike Dion of class 6 is actually a Gay! G.A.Y gayyyy…”

“Angela! Won't you stop that!”

“He's a Gay! The school alpha Mike is a ga_”

Luckily Mike caught her and quickly covers her mouth with his palm.

“Shut it please” he said breathing heavily.

“Hmmm…ummm…” She muffle screams.

“Alright! Alright okay…I'll… I'll date you…I'll just date you…that's okay right?” He asked while Angela nodded and he released her.

“Mikeyyyy…” Angela hugs him grinning broadly.

“Thank you Mikey…I promise I won't make you regret this…”

“In exchange…”

“Don't worry…my lips is sealed.”

Mike sighs resting his head on the wall while Angela just stayed there hugging him.

IN THE CLASS.

Angela comes in grinning ear to ear while Andrea ran to her.

“Hey girl…where have you been? No that's doesn't matter what's the news I'm hearing about you and Mike? What's going on between you two? When did you guys started dating?” Andrea asked while Angela just smiles.

“We started dating twenty minutes ago I think”

“What? Forget that. What about Edward? What are you gonna do with him?” Andrea asked and Angela looks towards Edward who kept his head on the table.

“Right…Eddie…” She mutters.

ON THE ROOFTOP.

“Tell me the truth…are you really together?” Edward asked while Angela bit her lower lip.

“Eddie you see…”

“Why?”

“What do you mean why? It's because I like him”

“Then what about me?”

“Hey you're talking as if we had something going on between us before”

“He doesn't like you”

“How would you know that?”

“You…did that to save him earlier didn't you?”

“What…do you…I…it's not like that!”

“Are you sure he's really not a gay?” Edward queried.

“No he's not!” Angela answered sharply and this somehow make Edward relaxed. He tucked his hands inside his pocket and sighs looking at Angela.

“I've been in this school more than you have did you forget that. I know practically all the students' stories. Do you think Mike is left out? I was keeping quiet cause I had nothing to do with him but now that you've came into the picture I'm not gonna stand s and watch him use you…he can use any other person but not you Angela. I won't allow that” Edward said and Angela quickly held his hand.

“Hey Eddie…promise me you won't tell anyone…nobody must know of this please. I only did that because I felt bad for him. I didn't want him to be put in a difficult situation…actually when I found out I wanted to give up on him but then…this happened”

“So it's indeed true? That guy is really a gay!” Edward asked flabbergasted.

“Wh..what…?”

“Wow…this is unbelievable! Amazing! ” he grins.

“Why do you look happy right now?”

“I guess I don't have to worry about him being my rival anymore…this is great news…how reliving”

“You…you trick me?”

“Angela my Angel” he put his arm around her shoulder.

“I get it that you like him but this isn't right. It's a good thing you told me the truth sooner…I don't wanna imagine what I'll do to that jerk for snatching you away from me. Don't worry I'll keep it a secret for you”

“Eddie!! How dare you…” She got hold of his hand and twisted it backwards.

“Hwy hey that hurts!”

“How dare you play me!”

“Stop it Angela it's hurts! Oh it's Mike!” Edward said and Angela quickly released him.

“Mike? ”

“See you later Angela my Angel!” Edward kissed her cheek and ran away grinning.

“That nut job!”

LATER DURING BREAK.

Angela was on her way to the cafeteria when jack double cross her.

Angela sighs.

“Another problem to tackle” she mutters to herself.

“Are you really dating?”

“Ohh…why do I feel like I became a celebrity overnight. You all just keep asking me the same question all over again”

“Answer me Angela are you really dating Mike?”

“Oh no poor you…seems like you lost” Angela shakes her head in pity while jacq scoffs.

“There's no way this will happen” jacq said to herself while Angela folds her arms.

“Why is it that you people find it unbelievable that we're actually dating? I mean can't we date?”

“It doesn't make sense…there's no way Mike will like a dumb head like you”

“He does…that's why we're together…why? You expect him to like a nerdy churl like you? What's so bad about me uh?”

“Not only are you stupid. You're clumsy, ugly, barmy and to crown it all you're a fish head”

“So you're telling me Mike can't like me cause I'm all what you listed out? Then what about you Miss- know_it_all? You're brilliant, beautiful, gifted and to crown it all popular. But why can't Mikey likes you? Do you want to know why? It's because you're swallon headed”

“You mean Swollen headed? You see that's what I'm saying…you really need to work on your vocabulary first gosh you sucks. You're an embarrassment to this school”

“Then you can teach me…hmph!” She huffs looking away but then her eyes caught Mike.

“Oh Mikey!” She ran to him linking arms with him.

“Mikey our school goddess here kept picking on me. She says there's no way you can date a blockhead like me that I'm evil, ugly, clumsy and I'm also dull”

“She isn't entirely wrong. Ah! She didn't mention you're clingy and annoying also?” Mike asked.

“Mike!” Angela slapped his shoulder silently while Mike simper.

“Mike” jacq went to them and push Angela away from him.

“It's not true right? There's no way you'll date her is there?”

“Yes there is. I'm dating Angela. She's my girlfriend now” he replied simply and Angela chuckles.

“You heard that? ” she pushes jacq away.

“Let's go Mikey…I'm starving…” She smirks at jacq leaving with Mike.

THE CAFETERIA.

“Why aren't you eating?” Mike asked Angela who was staring at him.

“Looking at you already makes me full” she smiles.

“I still can't believe this is actually happening. You're really my boyfriend”

“Don't push it” Mike continues eating.

“Mike ahhh…” Angela said trying to feed him.

“What are you doing?”

“Trying to feed you of course…come on taking. You don't want people to find out we're fake. They are watching you know” Angela said and Mike looks around but then his eyes met with Mr Kelvin.

Mr Kelvin looks away and he does also.

“Mikey…?” Angela called and Mike push the spoonful of rice into her mouth. Angela grins and points another one to him.

“Just eat your food don't push it!” Mike gritted.

“C'min Mikey…my hand is gonna fall off” she whined

“Take it uh? Ahhh…” Just as Mike was gonna take the food Edward pop out from nowhere and quickly eat it.

“Oh…Eddie!”

“Hmm.. This is amazing maybe it's because you fed me. It tastes awesome”

“What are you doing here?”

“To eat of course or you don't want us sitting with you ?” Andrea asked playfully.

“Huh I don't. I want to be alone with Mikey.”

“How cruel of you girl…you got a boyfriend and ditch your friends hi Mikey…you're okay with us here right?” Andrea opted.

“Of course he is…bro nice eating with you” Edward smiles but Mike continues eating not answering them.

“He's weird…” Edward shakes his head exchanging his food with Angela's.

“Hey what are you doing?”

“Yours looks more delicious” he grins while Angela face palmed.

“You pig!” Angela hits her spoon on Edward's head.

Mike stood up while Angela Crane her neck up to look at him.

“Where are you going? Are you done? Already?”

“As you can see…if you're not blind” he replied in a deadpan manner and leaves.

“This is all your fault!” Angela frowns at Edward.

“He'll eventually melts if you keep staring at him like that aren't you tired?” Andrea said to Angela who was drooling at Mike.

“I an never gets tired of him…never…”

“You should look at me like that my Angel…I'm pretty eye-catching you know”

“Sure whatever…” Angela mutters still looking at Mike.

“You know in my opinion it'll be great if you Starr at your books and get drawn to it like that” Andrea opined and Angela's expression changed.

“You just spoiled my mood”

“You know the mid teen is around the corner…how will you do well if you don't take your studies seriously are you gonna write about Mike in the exams”

“She can't do that. She should at least write about me”

“Both of you…aren't you gonna be serious? Won't you read for exams”

“Let exams be and let me be” Angela replied in a boring tone.

“Let us be…” Edward chipped in.

“I'm saying for the benefit of both of you…as a friend I'll advice you to take your books seriously…even your Mike will dump you here I assure you”

“As long as we're together…then it's fine. She'll be okay” Edward said and Andrea only shakes her head in pity.

“Sit down everyone!” Teacher kelvin groaned on getting inside the class.

“Ohhh…that's scared me. Why is he so irritated this morning?”

“Stand!” Daniel the class monitor ordered but Mr Kelvin stop him.

“Save your greetings. It's midterms I know you're all aware of that. And I know most of you aren't taking your studies seriously. Most of you here are never serious and people like you are the pain our society deals with. Now is the time to make everything right?read your books so you won't become a nuisance to the community especially you Angela!”

“Me? Why me?”

“We all know you're the black sheep of this class…if you want to go down then go down yourself don't drag others along. There will be a test next week
You guys should prepare for it. Especially those un serious ones among you. I won't be lenient on you. Keep that in mind. Mike follow me” The teacher said and goes out while Mike follows him.

“Why does he pick on only me?” Angela complained.

“Argh! That darn exams…how can I escape it?” Edward said to no one in particular.

“You can't escape it. It's better you take your books seriously.” Andrea advised.

“Argh! Books doesn't really go my way” Angela sighs.

Mike was arranging some books in the storage as per Mr kelvin's order when the door opens and someone steps in.

He needs no soothsayer to tell him who it was.

“So…you are breaking up?” The voice came behind him. Mike continue doing what he was doing it answering.

Mr Kelvin went closer and spun him around holding both his shoulders.

“Answer me”

“I can't risk it any longer”

“You're getting swayed by that girl”

“I'm not”

“You are”

“I can never feel something for her. You know that”

“No it's possible. There's something called bisexuality you know”

“I'm sure I'm ain't like that” Mike affirms and Mr Kelvin sighs.

“So…we really won't see each other again? I can't do that”

“I…”

“Listen Mike…unless I'm tired of you I won't ever let you go. So don't even try doing anything stupid. Unless you change your mind”

“My feelings remains the same”

“Good. Don't get too close with that girl. I really don't like seeing you two together and it gets on my nerves” he warned and Mike nodded.

“I'll see you later” Mr Kelvin gave him a quick kiss and leave the place while Mike only smiles.

“Me and boom don't get along…but fuck it anyway….Books doesn't go my way…” Angela sings.

“Go our way…go our way…” Edward back it up drumming on the desk.

“You should just stay away book”

“You should stay away from us..”

“Exams shot me in my leg yeah…”

“In our legs yeah…in our legs yeah…”

“And I trip and fell on my face yeah…”

“Trip and fell on our face…”

“Yeah I trip and fell way too quick.. Soon as I saw exams I loose it. Ohh I swear my brain must be bipo_” she stops when she saw Mike at the door step looking at them.

“Why did you stop…?” Edward asked.

“Mikey…?” Angela called embarrassingly and Mike shakes his head looking at them.

“Mikey hi..” Andrea greeted.

“A famous saying said. Show me your friends and I'll tell you write you are” Mike looks at Edward and Angela.

“What do you mean? I'm like them…I'm brilliant” Andrea quickly defended.

“I'm handsome” Edward said also.

“And I'm cute” Angela blinks her eyes repeatedly.

“I really pity our school for having people like you in it” Mike said scornfully then head to his seat.

“What's wrong with people like us uh?” Edward asked.

“Of course everything is wrong with you dumb head…ohh I can't believe I have friends lime you people. How embarrassing” Andrea replied.

“What's embarrassing?” Edward asked and Angela shrugged.
