“Amelia!”

She still wasn't responding. I got really scared. I touched her forehead and it was burning up. Her hands and feet were quite cold, it looks like she's ill. But why didn't she just stay home if she knew she wasn't feeling well?

I don't know how I'm going to get her to the hospital. Her driver isn't here yet and it's really pouring heavily outside. If I carry her out in this rain, she might get even worse.

“Amelia, you have to open your eyes because if you die here, I'm going to be held responsible” I said, carrying her up and taking her into her office. I laid her on her couch and turned off the air conditioner.

“F*ck. What do I do now?” I rub my temple and rack my brain for answers but I couldn't come up with anything.

I walked over to her to check if she was still breathing and discovered that she wasn't.

“Amelia??!” I called out, my heart sinking into my chest. Is she dead??

F*ck!!

No, this can't be happening!

I took out my phone to call the emergency number but the rain was blocking out signals. I had to result to giving her CPR.

“Common! Don't do this to me!” I said, panting heavily as I pressed down her chest repeatedly. It didn't seem to be working. Why is the universe determined to make me suffer today?

“Amelia please wake up” I was scared.. very scared. We're all alone, with no way to call for help and I'm not sure if she's still alive.

“Just f*cking open your eyes!! Goddamit!!” I groaned, pressing down on her chest harder.

After a couple of seconds, she started coughing loudly. I stopped the CPR and rushed over to hold her head. I didn't let her sit up, I just held her in place as she slowly opened her eyes and coughed.

Thank you Lord!!!

“Are you okay? Do you feel pain anywhere?” I asked, holding her hand. She squeezed my hand and shook her head slowly.

“I think I'm fine” she replied weakly.

“You shouldn't have come to work since you were sick. Do you know the tension I was in? I thought..” I took a deep breath and sighed.

“Nevermind” I said and she giggled.

“You were worried about me? That's sweet” she said and I scoffed.

“I just didn't want to be held responsible for your death” I said and she giggled weakly.

“Thank you” she said.

“For saving me”

“That's okay. Just don't pull that stunt again” I said and she gave me a faint smile.

Honestly, I was extremely worried about her. Amelia might be rude and particularly mean to me, but still.. I can't stop myself from caring about her. I know for sure that there's a soft side to this hardened woman.

“I'm so cold” she said. I helped her sit up and placed a pillow to support her head while I went and closed the two windows in the office. The rain still hasn't stopped and the weather was getting colder with each passing minute.

“Better?” I ask.

“No” she shook her head and rubbed her palms together.

Just then, the electricity went off and it was pitch black. I can't turn on the heater now. It really seems like the universe is playing games with me. I turned on my phone's flashlight to see better and kept it leaning on the tabe. What is all this? How will I keep her warm now?

I'm not feeling cold at all, infact I'm very warm as it stands. The anxiety I just went through had my heart pumping blood faster than ever. An idea came to my mind but I'm not sure Amelia will like the idea.

“Um.. I know how I can keep you warm and stop you from freezing to death” I said, scratching the back of my head. She batted her lashes at me.

“How?”

“I'm not sure you'll like the idea” I answered.

“Just tell me. I'm freezing here” she answered. Her voice was coming out hoarse and weak. I can tell she really isn't well.

“Since there's no signal to call for help, the only alternative is body to body contact. I'm very warm right now and I can share it with you” I explained. She seemed stunned and kept quiet for a few seconds. Very awkward moment.

“I see” she said and sighed.

“Well, it's not like I have much choice. I feel like I'm in a freezer. Let's go for it” she agreed and I smiled.

I went to sit beside her.

“You'll need to take off everything you're wearing. You can stay in your underwear alone” I instructed.

She shuddered at my words and nodded. I couldn't resist watching her take off her clothes one after the other. From her jacket, to her shirt, then her white pants, leaving her in the petite bikini she had on. I swallowed the lump in my throat and tried to control myself when I felt my d!ck actually rising.

She looked up at me, shivering from the cold. I immediately came back to my senses and got rid of my top, I caught her admiring my abs and toned body.

Luckily, she had one blanket on the couch so we used to cover ourselves while we cuddled.

Okay.. we were only keeping each other warm but it still counts as cuddling.

“You can go to sleep” I whispered into the darkness. She moved a bit and placed her head on my chest. I cannot stop myself from getting turned on.

She fell asleep while I watched over her. I've never been this close to any woman. I couldn't stop thinking about all the things I could do to her right now. My dirty mind wouldn't stop thinking about it. I sighed and hugged her tighter. She was very cold.

I noticed that the rain stopped and it was just drizzling now. I think I should call for help now, even though I'm enjoying cuddling with Amelia.

I stretched my hand took my phone. Finally, I got some signal. I think I should call the hospital so that Amelia can get a check up before going home.

I was about to call when I heard footsteps outside the door.

That's strange. I'm sure we're alone in the whole building so who could be outside?

The footsteps got closer and I focused my phone's flashlight at the door, a bit scared.

The door gently pushed open, my mouth hung open when I saw who it was.

Zack. The weird guy with silver hair who also happens to be Amelia's boyfriend.

His countenance screamed anger when he saw me cuddling his half n@ked girlfriend. He stared from me to her, his hands closing into a fist.

“What do you think you're doing?” He growled. I slowly got up, gently placing Amelia's head on the pillow.

“Look, man, it's not what you think” I said.

“Not what I think? You're here getting all cozy with my girlfriend and you're saying it's not what I think?” He asked, walking slowly over to me.

“Jeez! She collapsed and was freezing, I had no alternative” I said but he didn't seem to be interested in my reasons as he rushed towards me and grabbed me by the collar. He lifted me off the ground with ease, I was shocked.

He's extremely strong.. f*ck!!

“Put me down will you? You should be thanking me for saving your girlfriend huh!” I said, struggling with him but I felt like paper in his hand.

“Now listen attentively, I am here to save her, I don't need you to do that. Stay away from Amelia, this is your last warning, or I'm going to have to f*ck you up!” He threatened and threw me across the room. I landed on the floor with my elbow hitting the floor very hard.

What kind of man is he??

He has such a bad temper!

“Zack!!” Amelia had woken up and witnessed him throwing me across the room. She sprang up and raced to where I was. I winced when she touched my elbow. She turned to Zack and glared at him.

“What the hell is wrong with you?! Why did you do that!? He just f*cking saved my life and you threw him across the room like that!” She yelled at me as he was busy shooting daggers at me.

“He shouldn't have been so close to you” Zack said.

“Who the f*ck are you to tell me who to be close to? Don't forget who you are to me, and don't cross your boundaries. Fool!” She yelled at him and turned back to me with worry written all over her face.

“Are you okay? Get up” she said, helping me to stand up. She put my arm around her neck and walked me out of the office.

Zack continued to shoot daggers at me from behind, I could feel it.

There's something strange about this man, he's not ordinary. The way he tossed me like a piece of paper is something I'm yet to understand.

Amelia managed to tie the blanket around her chest, then she called her driver to come and pick her up.

After fifteen minutes, the driver arrived and we entered the car. I was dropped in front of my house, she gave me money for the trouble I went through. I refused at first but she insisted so I had to take it and bade her goodbye.

I returned home and found Zack already outside the house. How on earth did he get here that fast?

Psychopath.

I ignored him and entered the house. He followed me inside and up to my room.

“Look Amelia, I'm sorry I overreacted” he started. I still ignored him and put on some clothes.

“Don't be silent please. I'm very sorry” he continued.

“What exactly do you think of yourself? You realize I only want you for the s3x right? Even the s3x made me collapse today and I'm not sure if I'll be needing it again for now” I shook my head.

“I'm sorry” he repeated.

“Just keep quiet and leave me be” I said, climbing into the bed. I'm tired and angry.

“The only reason I didn't hurt him further was because I discovered that you care for him” I heard him say but I honestly didn't see his lips move.

“Did you say something?” I ask. He shook his head and left the room.

What the f*ck?

The next morning, I went for a check up and the doctor confirmed that I was okay. Although she warned me to abstain for the meantime, I don't know if I can do that.

I went to work and met Noah there already, working. I walked over to his desk, with everyone shouting “Good morning ma'am” at me.

“Good morning” he greeted.

“How's your elbow?” I asked.

“It's fine, I put ice on it last night and it's better. Your boyfriend is harsh” he smirked.

“He's not my boyfriend..” I scoff and flip back my hair.

“Whatever” he rolled his eyes dramatically and we giggle, attracting attention from other employees.

“What about you? How's your health?”

“I'm fine, don't worry about it” I answered.

“Come over to my office. I have loads of work for you” I winked, ready to taunt him.

“Yes boss. Thanks for checking on me” he grinned. I scoff again and walk away, trying not to blush.
