★( SCARY NIGHT ) ★

“Does it still hurt?” Paige said as they walked to school together.

Carding glared at her and she quickly looked somewhere else coughing, like she chocked on something.

Carding sighs and continues limping.

“It must hurt a lot” Paige muffled taking in her lower lips. She sighs and ran to caught up with him.

“Carding I’m sorry” She said.

Carding stops walking and looks at her.

“Of all the places you cold hold, why did it have to be my manhood? You almost Killed me Paige”

“That was the fastness thing I could hold on to, to prevent my face from hitting the floor, if I didn’t hold it, my face will have been in the OR getting surgery” Paige said.

Carding remained silent.

“I’m sorry. Can you stop being mad, I know it hurts but I’m sorry” Paige said pouting.

Carding smiles.

“Is fine, but don’t do it ever again”

“I won’t, Cross my heart to die” Paige said raising her right hand above her head.

Carding smiles and roughs her hair playfully.

“Will you be able to walk? The distance from here to school is far”

“I can manage. Though is my first time walking a long distance, but this is my new life, I’ll just get adapted to it”.

“That’s the spirit Carding, prove to your dad that you can survive without his money”.

Carding looks at her and smiles.

“Thanks Paige”

Paige pats his shoulder.

“Don’t thank me Carding, I’m always at your beck and call anytime you need me”.

And both look at each other smiling.

They arrived in school, Carding went straight to the CAD’S lounge while Paige went to class.

“What’s this?” Carding asked both Angelo and Dylan.

“Is a debit card” Dylan answers his question.

“Yeah I know. But why’re you giving it to me”

“Your staying with Paige’s, right? And your dad took your debit cards, that’s why I and Dylan transfer a lot of money into this debit card, so you can survive with it”

“I also brought one of my cars for you Carding. You aren’t use to walkng a long distance, so use it in coming to school everyday. Thankfully your dad didn’t say anything to the school’s boards” Angelo said.

Carding looks at them and sighs.

“Thanks a lot best friends, but I can’t accept this” Carding said.

“And Why not Carding, Your not used to the kind of life your about to face”

“Yeah, and that’s why I want to get use to it. I want to show my Dad that I can survive without his money and I can also provide for my mom when she wakes up”.

“That’s going to be hard Carding” Dylan said.

“I know, but I’m going to give it a try” Carding said and both Dylan and Angelo looked at him with pity eyes.

“C’mon guys, don’t give me that pity looks, I’m going to be fine, just trust me”

Angelo sighs.

“So what’s next?”

“I’m going to look for a job. It’ll be embarrassing living in Paige’s house without helping out in the expenses. And also I’m going to find a way to get into the music industry”

“Music industry?” Both Dylan and Angelo asked at once.

And Carding nods smiling.

“It has always been my dream to be a soloist, but I kept hiding it because of my dad. And now that he already threw me out of the picture, I think is time for me to do what I really want” Carding said.

“And we’re always here for you Carding, always” Dylan said.

Carding looks at them and smiles.

He may not have the perfect family, but he was thankful he got real friends who was always there for him.

“Really? Carding is living with you” Desiree asked.

“Yes a lot of things happened to him, So he’ll be staying in my house still his mom wakes up from coma” Paige said.

“I feel so sorry for him. Will he be able to cope?” Sabrina asked.

“He’s doing perfectly fine” Paige said.

Stacey just heaves without saying a word, her eyes kept looking for Angelo.

And when he entered the classroom with Carding and Dylan, she smiles.

“Angelo” she calls waving at him.

Angelo only let out a slight smile and looks at Sabrina.

“How are you feeling now?” He asked.

“I’m fine” Sabrina answers.

Angelo place his hand on her forehead, making the student gasps.

👤Are they dating?

👤They look so good together.

Sabrina sighs and jerks his hand off.

I’m fine. Stop making the class have the wrong idea” Sabrina said.

“I’m glad your okay” Angelo said and winks at her.

Stacey stood up and leaves the class.

“Stacey” Sabrina said going after her.

Angelo smiles and went to his seat.

“What’s going on with Stacey?” Paige asked.

“Is obvious Angelo likes Sabrina but it turns out that Stacey likes Angelo” Desiree said.

“Huh? Really?”

“This is why I hate the word called LOVE, it makes one go crazy and might make you do the unexpected”.

“Really?” Paige asked again.

“Yes Paige. LOVE isn’t something to joke about. It gives happiness, but also gives pains, and thankfully I don’t belong to the category of those falling in love… Your one of them”.

“Don’t make fun of me Desiree”

“No I’m not. Were you able to confess your feelings for Carding?”

Paige looks at Carding who was talking with Dylan and Angelo and sighs.

“The timing wasn’t perfect. His mom is in coma, although he’s wearing a smiling face, but I know his hurting inside. I think this isn’t the perfect time to tell him, let him get use to his new life first” Paige said looking at him.

Carding sees her and she smiles at him.

Nadine enters the classroom furiously. She went to where Carding was and takes him out of the class.

“What’s going on with that bitch?” Desiree asked.

“Guess she found out about what happened… What about Bryan?”

“And why’re you suddenly asking about that jerk” Desiree said squeezing her face.

“Why do you even hate Bryan. He’s a sweetheart” Paige said.

“Sweetheart my foot. Is a good thing he’s not schooling here, else we’ll would have bring our conflict at home to school” Desiree said.

“Your the one always picking on him. Your the trouble marker Desiree, not him”

“Whatever, let’s just stop talking about him” Desiree said.

“Two thousand dollars”

“Huh?”

“If peradventure you somehow fall in love with Bryan, your going to give me Two thousand dollars”

Desiree laughs.

“I won’t just give you two thousand dollars, but five thousand dollars. Fall in Love with Bryan… that will be in my next life when I’m not called Desiree and he’s not called Bryan” Desiree said.

Paige laughs, playing with Desiree.

Nadia looks at them and sighs.

Barney waves at Dylan with a smile, but Dylan shot her a deadly glare, before resting his head on the desk.

“Are you all right?” Angelo asked.

And Dylan nods his head. He was feeling lots of pains inside his brain. The pains started recently and he couldn’t tell the reason for the pains.

“Stacey, Stacey” Sabrina said caughting up with Stacey.

“Let go off me Sab”

“What’re you even mad about?” Sabrina asked.

“Really? Are you seriously asking me that? You said you don’t like Angelo, so why’re you allowing him touch you. The whole class even thinks you both are good together!!” Stacey yells angrily.

“It was nothing Stacey. I’m only friends with Angelo because I want to help you get closer to him”

“Really?”

“Yes Stacey. I can’t help you get close to Angelo if I’m always snubbing him. I don’t love Angelo and I won’t ever fall for him, because my best friend loves him” Sabrina said.

Stacey bits her lips and held Sabrina’s hand.

“I’m sorry bestie. Sorry I yelled at you” Stacey said and Sabrina smiles.

“Is nothing Stacey. Just trust me on this, your my best friend and I won’t ever betray you”.

“I love you bestie” Stacey said hugging her.

Sabrina smiles, patting her back.

Carding removes her hand from Nadine and Nadine face him.

“What’s going on with you Carding?”

“Meaning?”

“Did you possibly think I won’t find out about what happened. Why did you leave the mansion?’

“And I’m also sure you must have heard the full story, right? My Dad landed my mom in coma all because of you and your mom!!”

“But that won’t have happened if you haven’t befriended that Paige. If that video didn’t go viral, your mom won’t have been in coma, is all Paige’s fault”

“Don’t even think about pinning the blame on Paige. I’m glad it even happened, at least I have finally left that monster I call my Dad”

“Can you even hear yourself speaking? You want to live as a pauper. How’re you going to survive?”

“How I’m going to survive is none of your business Nadine” Carding said and tries to leave but Nadine held his hand.

“I care about you so much Carding, and that’s why despite what you did to me, I’m still worried about you. Just go back home, if you want I can beg your Dad to take you back. I don’t want to see you suffering, is going to be hard for you, just go back home” Nadine said.

Carding jerks her hand off and leaves.

“Why is he stubborn?” Nadine muttered fighting back her tears.

The art students were all busy looking at the poster board, checking out who will be their partners for the art work competition.

“Wow I guess you and Carding are really destined to together. You both are partners for the competition” Desiree said and Paige smiles.

“I guess birds of thesame feathers always flocks together. Nadine and Barney are partners” Sabrina said.

Stacey smiles checking for her name and her smiles vanish when she sees that Sabrina and Angelo where partners for the artwork Competition, while she (Stacey) and Dylan were partners.

“Sab. You and Angelo are partners” She said with a sad face.

“Huh?” Sabrina muttered and looks at the poster board.

“Why me of all people?” She muttered and face Stacey

“Don’t worry Stacey, That way I’ll get you more closer to Angelo. I’m going to tell him everything about you, when we create our artwork together”.

“Thanks so much Sabrina” Stacey said smiling.

Desiree sighs and shakes her head.

“Love will never be my thing” She muffled checking for her name, and her jaw dropped on seeing who she was going to partner with.

“I’m partners with Nadine’s twin!” Desiree exclaims.

“Hi Guys” Nadia said waving at the four of them.

Paige, Desiree, Stacey and Sabrina looked at her awkwardly.

“I just wanted to say Hi, since I’m partnering with Desiree” Nadia said innocently.

“Can you pull off that act? We know your just like your sister” Desiree said.

“No I’m not. Nadine maybe my twins but I’m different from her, trust me” Nadia said.

“Are you her puppet then?” Desiree asked and Paige hits her lightly.

“Don’t be rude Desiree”

“I can’t help it Paige. After what her mom and twin sister did to you, I feel like disfiguring her face. Why are we partners is what I keep asking myself” Desiree said.

Sabrina and Stacey didn’t say a word.

“Is okay if you hate me I understand. My sister is annoying and I won’t blame you if you take it out on me, since I’m her twin. But I really want to be friends with the four of you” Nadia said.

“Huh? You want to be in our group?” Paige asked and Nadia nods.

“Yes. I really admire how you stood up against Nadine. Is something I can’t do, even if I’m her twin. I’ve always wanted to talk to you four, but I didn’t know how to. Guess I do now, since I and Desiree are partners” Nadia said.

“What can you do?” Desiree asked.

“Huh?”

“Paige is the queen of craziness, I’m the queen of gossip, Sabrina the laughing queen and Stacey, the visual of our group, what can you do? You can’t be our friend if you ain’t good at anything”.

“Well I’m good at writing” Nadia said.

“Our friendship group isn’t a library… Your out” Desiree said and Paige hits her head.

“Don’t mind her Nadia, your in” Paige said.

“Really” Nadia said smiling.

“Yes. But as long as you don’t behave like your bratty sister” Paige said.

“Never. I’m not like her” Nadia said smiling.

BB MODELING INDUSTRY***

“Why can’t I participate in the red carpet event? I’m a model too” Nadine said.

“Because of the video that went viral Nadine” The director answers.

“But it has already been taken down, is no longer on social media”.

“But it hasn’t been wiped out from the minds of people Nadine, and I’m sure half of Chicagos have the video saved in their phones, and I won’t be surprised if they bring that up during the red carpet event”.

“So that’s why your stopping me from going for it, first I stopped being the face of two expensive brands and now this. Are you trying to completely ruined my career huh!!” Nadine yells at him.

“Then you should have thought about the outcome of your action first before doing it. Your a celebrity model Nadine, but you belittled yourself and disgrace yourself, you even claimed a property that wasn’t yours. Your mom is the founder of one of the biggest entertainment industry that produce the best movies and series every year, but she didn’t think twice before going to your school to fight for you, You and your mom messed up big time, so you both have to dance to the beating of the music you both created” The director said.

Nadine sighs, swiping her hair to the back.

“Modelling is my life, I made a lot of effort just to be where I am today, I can’t let it slipped off my finger, I want to maintain my position as the top third popular model here in Chicago” Nadine said.

“That’s why you have to lay low for now, the video is still fresh in their memories, so for now, you just have to live like a normal girl passing by, still the whole issue dies now” The director said and leaves.

Nadine sits in the couch, blinking back her tears.

“I can’t believe I have to live like a normal girl rather than a popular model, this is all Paige’s fault!!! Is all her fault!!!, I’m going to kill her!!” Nadine screams scattering everything in the dressing room.

THE CASTILLO’S HOUSE***

Paige keeps looking at the window as it rain heavily outside.

“Why aren’t you sleeping Paige?” Greg asked her, when he came out from his room and sees Paige staring at the window with lots of worries.

“Carding isn’t yet back”

“I thought you both left for school together”

“Yes we did, but he left before classes where over, and he’s not yet back”

“I’m sure will be at one of his friend’s house”

“I called Angelo and Dylan and both said Carding isn’t in their house… What if his dad had him hostage” Paige said and without thinking, she ran out of the house.

“Paige! Where’re you going? Paige!!” Greg screams her name, but Paige ignores her.

Paige keeps running down the street as the rain drenched on her.

Her whole mind was occupied with fear. Carding left school without saying a word, and not seeing him at home, is igniting fear inside of her.

Vince is a monster and won’t think twice of hurting Carding.

“Carding” Her inner mind keeps calling him.

She was still running when she bumped into someone and they both landed on the ground.

Paige looked at the person she bumped into and her heart race calm down when she saw it was Carding.

“Where are running to inside the rain Paige?”

Paige looks at him and slaps him so hard on the face.

“Paige” Carding said surprisedly as the heavy rain fell on them.

“Did you know how scared I was huh? I thought… I thought your evil dad did something you, I thought that he took your hostage and I’ll never get to see your face again, I was so scared” Paige said crying.

“I’m sorry, I didn’t know you were this worry about me”

“Of course I’m worried about you. How can I not be worried about the boy I love so much!!!”

“Huh? You love me?”

“Yes I do Carding, I love you so much, so much that is driving me crazy”

Carding looks at her smiling.

“Are you a moron? Aren’t you going to say something” Paige said sniffing back her tears.

“You stole my heart a very long time ago Paige” Carding said and instantly claimed her lips.
