★( SHE’S CRAZY ) ★

“Paige that’s enough” Helena said and that made Paige bring out Nadine’s face from the pothole water.

Nadine gasps, trying to caught her breath and she won’t deny that she drank some of the pothole water.

Paige pulls her up with her hair and Nadine winces.

“Let go off me b*tch!!” Nadine yells trying to break free from Paige’s grip and her face was designed with the dirty mud from the pothole water.

“Yes we might be poor and can’t afford expensive cars like you do, but that doesn’t mean I can’t teach a spoilt brat like you some lessons, it won’t have been better if you’d called me names, but you made the mistake of calling my mom whose so important to me, a wrenched woman, thinking about that, I feel like beating the living day light out of you” Paige said raising her hand to hit Nadine.

“Paige!!” Helena screams and Paige withdraws from punching her, she release Nadine and Nadine falls on her butts.

“Disappear from my sight this instead before my madness gets to another level” Paige said with an angry voice.

Nadine stood up to her feet and flings her wet smelling hair.

“Your going to pay for this trust me, Am going to make sure you get it from me in thousands folds” Nadine said.

“Well bring it on Lizard, am so ready for you” Paige said without a blink, and Nadine glared at her.

“Why? Do you want me to bath you inside the pothole water again huh!!” Paige asked getting ready to grab her hair, but Nadine runs to where her car is.

“Your going to hear from me!!” Nadine yells. She enters her car and drove off.

“Well I’ll be waiting for your comeback Lizard” Paige said and Helena hits her shoulder.

“Ouch… Mom!”

Helena glared at her, but after a while she smiles.

“That’s was nice” She said.

“Then why did you stop me, I wanted to make sure she drank all the water… How dare she call you a wrenched woman thinking she was going to go scott free” Paige said.

“Your still crazy like always” Helena said, Paige smiles and wrap her hand around her mom’s shoulder.

“That’s because I got my craziness from you, Ever since I was little, you have always told me to always know how to stand up for myself”.

“I think your over doing it”

“That’s because I was born to be crazy” Paige said fitstyling and both laugh.

“How about what I was saying ealier…. You should attend the famous Empire Highschool”.

“Not interested” Paige said ripping off another nylon of vanilla lollipop.

EMPIRE HIGH SCHOOL***

Different kinds and colours of cars could be seen entering inside the school compound, with student all looking so elegant and classy.

And being a school of mufti, it has turned into a fashion show clubhouse, where one can wear whatever he or she likes.

Some students could be seeing wearing bom shorts, ripped jeans, Jean on Jean, armless shirts, shorts and many more worth millions of dollars.

And you could easily tell those who are well-off and those who are in the school thanks to their brains.

The quiet environment suddenly became jam-packed with noise as the three demigod of Empire High came down from their respective cars.

👤 They’re looking so handsome as always

👤 I love your baby face Angelo

👤 Dylan’s dimples are killing

👤 Carding looks more handsome in his huge jacket

👤 Carding I love you, Please date me

The students especially the female students keeps commenting on their looks and when the three boys smiled at them, Some screamed so loudly, While others fainted.

👥 We love you CAD!!!!

They screamed, jumping on their feets.

THE CAD’S LOUNGE***

“How was the presentation yesterday Card?” Dylan asked.

Carding looks at them and sighs.

“With your facial expression, I guess it didn’t go well right?” Angelo asked. Carding looks at him and nods his head, Dylan immediately rush to him.

“How did your Dad take it? Was he mad at you? Did he scold you that much?” Dylan asked many questions at the same time looking worried.

Carding looks at him and smiles.

“No he didn’t” He answers.

“Really?” Angelo asked and Carding nods, Angelo touch his arm and Carding winces in pain.

“Are you all right Carding?” Dylan asked.

“Is obvious he got scolded by his dad, is summer break, I know Carding doesn’t fancy it, so seeing him on big jacket signifies that he got it hot from his Dad” Angelo said and Carding sighs.

“Does it hurt that much?” Dylan asked worriedly and Carding looks at him and smile.

“Don’t worry about me Dylan I’m not hurt”

“Stop trying to hide your pains Carding, after school we will all go to the hospital together” Angelo said, and Dylan nods in support.

“Guys I’m okay, You both don’t have to worry about me, am definitely fine” Carding said assuring them with a smile.

“Then take off your Jacket” Angelo said and Carding sighs.

“Fine, I’ll go with you both to the hospital…. Happy now?” He asked and Angelo smiles.

“But don’t you think life is kinda being unfair?” Dylan asked.

And both Angelo and Carding looks at him.

“Yes we can have any material things we wish for in just a second, but we don’t have our freedom, I was forced by my Parents to be engaged to Barney, when is obvious that I don’t love her, but my parents doesn’t care about that, all they care about is growing their hospital which already had it’s stand years ago and Carding….”

Carding looks at Dylan.

I’m not only born from wedlock, but also hated by my own father, and I have to displeased myself just to please him, and not only that, having a Mom whose blinded by her love for the man that doesn’t care about her existence” Carding said and sighs.

“My Parents only care about their business, they are hardly at home and if by chance they come home all they do is boss me around to do well in school, so I won’t tarnish their reputation… Is kinda hard been the only sons of our strict parents right?” Angelo asked and both Carding and Dylan nods.

“I wish we’d be given a day just to do what we really want” Dylan said and Carding looks at him.

*Yes our Parents always have our lives wrapped around their fingers, but shouldn’t we be given a day to do what we really want?* Paige’s voice echoes in Carding’s ear and he smiles.

“She’s crazy” He said smiling and both Angelo and Dylan looks at him.

“Who’s crazy?” Both ask at the same time.

“Huh? Did I say that out loud?” He asked.

“Yes you did, and you were blushing, whose She’s crazy?” Dylan asked.

“Is just someone I know” Carding said with a smile.

The school bell rang and Carding stood up.

“Is time for class, we should go to class” He said leaving.

“Someone he just knows… Who is she?” Dylan asked directing the question to Angelo.

“Let’s just go to class” Angelo said leaving too.

“She’s crazy… Who could she be? This is his first time mentioning the word SHE… Guys wait for me” Dylan said running to meet them.

THE MCDONALD’S MANSION***

Nadine enters the house and throws her bag on the couch.

“How dare she? How dare her do this to me, am going to ripped her apart!!!” Nadine screams angrily.

“Ma’am are you alright?” A maid asked and Nadine glared at her.

“Do I look like am okay? Are you blind not to notice that am not okay!!!!” Nadine yells at her.

“Sorry Ma’am”

“Sorry for your useless self, go pretend a bath for me, I need to get this sticky smell off my body….. Do that quickly!!!!” She yells, and the maid quickly went to do as she has ordered.

“What happened to you Nadine?” Nadia asked.

“Is non of your business asshole!!”

“I’m just looking out for you and this what I get in return”

“From what I can remember I didn’t ask you to worry about me, whatever happens to me is non of your business, so get off my back looser” Nadine said bumping shoulders with Nadia, storming her way upstairs.

Nadia looks at her and she sighs.

“I wonder what happened to her, she reeks” Nadia muttered, she looks at what she was holding and smiles.

“I have to give this to him” Nadia said leaving the house smiling.

Nadine keeps brushing her skin to wipe out the stinking smell from the pothole water.

“Yuck!!!, I still stink so much!!!”

“Her name is Paige….. Am so going to get back her, she’s going to pay for doing this to a model…. I stink!” Nadine whines sponging her body the more.

******

HOSPITAL***

“Eat some more Seth” Sabrina said feeding Seth. Her face was now brighten than before because her brother is finally awake.

Seth is her stepbrother, but she loves him so dearly, and to her Seth was her life. Her mom already passed away, and she was left with Seth and her stepfather, who happens to be Seth’s father.

His not someone who Sabrina will love to talk about because his addicted to alcohol and cigarettes and whenever his wasted, he verge his anger on both Sabrina and Seth.

But this past few days have been okay for them cos Jackson their supposed father isn’t home for the mean time.

“Aren’t you going to school today big sis?” Seth asked, Sabrina smiles and caress his cheek.

“No Seth”

“Why not? Is it because of me?”

“Of course not Seth, we aren’t doing anything important in school today, a new school year just started, so new students are getting ready to take the exams into Empire High, school can fully start after that” Sabrina said.

Seth sighs.

“I’m sorry big sis, thanks to me, you’ll have to work extra miles just to pay for my hospital bills” Seth said sadly.

“Don’t be sad about that Seth, Someone settled it already”.

“Really? Who? Your boyfriend?” Seth asked.

“Of course not Seth, I don’t even have one to begin with and am not ready to start a relationship with anyone, Love and dating isn’t for me” Sabrina said.

“And why not? Your beautiful” Seth said.

“Because I have lots of responsibility, I have tons of my part-time jobs waiting for me, I have you to take care of, and I have to keep up with my grades, so my scholarship won’t be rescinded” Sabrina said.

“Sorry about that big sis, but who then paid for my hospital bills?”

“I don’t know, he doesn’t want me to know who he is, but whoever he might be, am grateful to him, my brother is okay and healthy again” Sabrina said smiling.

Someone who has been listening to their conversation smiles, he turns to leave and met the doctor about to go in.

“How’s her brother doing?” He asked.

“He’s getting better and will be discharged in no time” The doctor said.

“Make sure he gets the proper treatment, am going to pay for everything including his medicines” He said.

“Alright, But can I ask why your doing all of this?” The doctor asked.

The boy looks at the door and he could see half of Sabrina’s face, since the door wasn’t fully close and he could see her smiling, he smiled as well.

“Because I love her… I love her so much” He said.

******

THE CASTILLO’S HOUSE***

“I’m so happy to finally eat!!!!” Paige screams hitting the spoon on the table.

“Can’t you stay a minute without trying to make a noise, I had an earful earlier, cos the neighbors keeps complaining about your unending noise” Grey said.

“Whatever Grey, they should go and die… Food is finally here!!!” She screams and continues hitting her spoon on the table.

Helena hits her head.

“Let’s just eat in peace Paige, we know your crazy, but let’s have a peaceful meal, without you disturbing everyone” Helena said.

Paige giggles and began to eat.

“When is dad coming home? Is he not yet done fishing?” Paige asked. Her Dad is actually a fisherman and as such Paige has learned lots of things from him.

“Since it’s summer break, his going to come home soon” Greg answers.

“Then I can’t wait to see him, is being two years since I last saw him” Paige said smiling.

“That’s because you choose to stay in Taiwan with Aunt Cathy, I was surprised when you said you were coming back to Chicago” Greg said.

“And now that she’s back, she’s refusing to start school again” Helena said.

Paige ignores her and continues eating.

“I already bought the scholarship form of Empire High for you” Helena said and Paige spranged up quickly.

“How? When? I was with you the entire day, so how were you able to get the form?” Paige asked.

“Our neighbor’s daughter is also taking the scholarship exam, so she helped me get the form ealier today, You should go for the exam” Helena said.

“With what? I don’t have the brain to take an exam, Greg can’t help out cos am even better than him in terms of exams, So you should return the form or better still, sell it at a cheaper rate to anyone who wants to take the exam” Paige said.

Helena was about protesting when Grey cut her Short by saying;

“Nadine’s new photos have just been uploaded…. Wow no wonder she’s the queen of Empire High, if she wasn’t 18, I’d have a crush on her, but too bad, she’s a minor”

“Lemme see” Paige said taking the phone from Greg and her eyes widened.

“This Devil!!”

“You know her?” Greg asked.

“Yes, she’s the spoilt brat that insulted mom earlier… So she’s indeed a model” Paige said.

“Yes, she’s also the queen of Empire High”

“Did you just say Empire High?” Paige asked.

“Yes, she attends the school and rumors have it that she’s feared by students there”.

Paige smirks.

“Queen of Empire High…. Feared by students” Paige scoffs.

“I’m going to take the scholarship exam to Empire High….. Let’s see if she’s going to be the queen of that school, when I finally land” Paige said and smirks.

******

SAME NIGHT***

Carding walks down the street with his headphone on, he doesn’t want to see his mom at home, that’s why he just decide to walk down the street of the night to pass out time.

He smiles when he remembered Paige’s face.

“She really got me big time, I can’t even stop thinking about her… God I want to see her again” Carding said to himself walking, but he stopped when he sees Paige.

He shakes his head.

“I’m I seeing things now?” He asked himself, he cleans his eyes just to verify if it was her, and indeed it was her.

She was standing a little distance from a hamburger stand, sniffing the fragrance of the hamburger, and the way she sniffs in the aroma of the hamburger was very funny.

“I wish I have the money to buy it, I’ll just inhale the fragrance” She said sniffing more deeply like a dog.

Carding almost laughed out loud.

“She’s crazy” He said smiling as he watched her sniffing the aroma of the hamburger.

After watching her for a seconds he approach her from behind and taps her smiling.

Thinking it was one of the street thug, Paige takes his hand and flip him over her shoulder, landing him on a table.

The table broke and Carding’s back hits the bare floor, Paige immediately place her boot on his chest.

“Who’re you?”

“Miss… Is me” Carding struggle to say, as pains hits him.

“Carding” Paige said recognizing his face.
