THE SALVADOR HOUSE***

“Let’s make a toast for my daughter who has finally being set Free”. Susan said raising her glass of wine.

And they hits their glasses one after the other laughing.

Naomi was just trying to brighten up, her entire soul and head were occupied with Alex.

“Naomi are you alright”. Bre asked.

And Naomi nods.

“You just got out from jail Naomi, is something to be happy about, so what with the moody face”. Brielle asked.

“Am fine Brielle, am happy am back home with you all”. Naomi said and forced out a smile.

Susan looks at Finn and smile.

“Now I can finally say what I want to say, I couldn’t do that all this while, because of what was at stake then”. She said.

And they all looked at her.

“Finn will you please marry Naomi”

And Naomi chocked on her food, while Bre instantly became sad.

“Mom!!”. Naomi exclaims coughing slowly.

“What, you both know each other right, I was planning on doing the introductory for you both, but it turns out that you and Finn already know each other, that’s what they call fate, so what do you think Finn”.

“Well I…I…”.

“We’re just friends mom, no string attached, how can you just come up with the idea of marriage”. Naomi said.

“I wasn’t talking to you Naomi”.

“Finn, get my mom out of her illusion and tell her we’re nothing but friends”.

And Finn looks at Naomi.

“We’re just friends Aunt”. He managed to say.

“Too bad then, but still your the one I want for my daughter and no one else”. Susan said, Finn secretly smile, Bre saw that and it made her more sad.

“I’ll be going home now Aunt”. Bre said standing up from the chair.

“I thought you were going to spend the night here”. Danta asked.

“I changed my mind uncle, I kinda feel home sick”. She said.

“Lemme see you off Bre”.

“No is fine Naomi, I can go home on my own, you should rest…..I’ll be going now”. She said.

Bre looks at Finn, who has his whole eyes on Naomi, and leaves.

“Is everything okay with Bre”. Brielle asked.

“Am sure she’s just tired…eat some more son in-law”. Susan said feeding Finn.

Naomi sighs.

“When his he going to wake up Natasha”. Calvin asked worriedly.

“This is the reason I told him not to stress himself, thank God he didn’t fall back into coma, but right now, I dunno when his going to wake up”.

Calvin sighs.

“Naomi should have listened to him, if she didn’t snub him like she did earlier, this won’t have happened to him”.

“You can’t blame her Calvin, she saw hell when she was wrongly accused, if she was not with him, she won’t have be framed, let’s just hope he gets better”.

“I guess Alex is the only one whose in love with Naomi, he even loves her more than he loved his first love, I feel so sorry for Alex, he shouldn’t be going through all of this”.

And Natasha pats him.

“Don’t worry Calvin, Alex is going to be fine, and am going to do my best in making sure he gets better”.

Julio enters the wall.

“Any improvement on my son”. He asked.

“Yes, but slowly”.

“What really happened Calvin, Alex was alright a while ago, how come he became unconscious again”.

“Is all my fault uncle, I left him alone, and Alex who wanted to pee tried standing to his feet, and fell, that’s why his wounds reopened and he fell unconscious, am sorry”. Calvin apologize.

Natasha looks at him and smiles.

“Is fine Calvin, what matters is that he should wake up quickly”. Julio said looking at Alex.

“And Olivia, the boy who gave a wrong statement, has he been questioned”. Natasha asked.

“His already in jail, and will be interrogated tomorrow”. Julio answers.

And both Calvin and Natasha nods their heads.

“Thanks for helping out during the time I was framed Finn”. Naomi said as both walk one step after the other on the street of the night.

She was seeing him off.

“It was nothing Naomi, I wanted to help out, but I didn’t do much anyways, sir Alex’s statement was the one which set you free”. Finn said.

“But you did attempt to help, thanks alot Finn”.

And Finn nods.

“Will you continue working in the hotel”.

“I doubt that Finn, my mom wants me to stay away from sir Alex”.

“Do you feel bad about it”. He asked.

“I guess is the best thing to do Finn, we’re worlds Apart, he just have to be in his world and I’ll be in mine…am planning on looking for a new job”.

“Don’t stress yourself Naomi, I’ll be the one to do that for you, take your time in recovering from the bruises you got”.

“Thanks Finn”.

“Is nothing Naomi”

“And about what my mom said awhile ago, don’t take it to heart, she’s just jabbing”.

“Why Naomi….why can’t I take it to heart”. Finn asked.

“Because we’re just friends, and that’s what is always going to be right”.

Finn looks at her, before slowly nodding his head.

“Yeah that’s true”.

Naomi smiles.

“I’ll be going back home now finn, my mom will soon get worried about me”. Naomi said.

“Alright Naomi”. Finn muttered.

Naomi turns to leave, but Finn held her hand.

“What’s wrong Finn”.

“Naomi I…I…emm..I…goodnight”. Finn sighs, releasing her hand.

“You too Finn”. She replies and leaves.

“I love you Naomi, I love you so much”. Finn said watching her as she leaves.

He later took a cab and went home.

Naomi who didn’t actually go home, came back and stop a cab.

“National University hospital”. She said entering the cab.

Naomi arrived in the hospital, and since she didn’t want anyone to know she actually came to the hospital, she covers her face with a scarf and enters the hospital.

She kept checking the entire wards one after the other, looking for Alex.

It would’ve been more easier for her if she has verified his room number from the receptionist, but she choose not.

After so many attempt of trying, Naomi opened the last VIP Ward, and sees Alex laying on the bed.

He was wearing an oxygen mask to enable breath, other medical facilities were attached to his body.

“Sir Alex”. Naomi muttered taking off the scarf.

Tears falls down her eyes on seeing the state he was.

She slowly walks towards him, hicupping in tears.

“Sir Alex”. She said increasing the pace of her cry.

Seeing him in the State breaks her tender heart into a thousand pieces.

“Am sorry, sir Alex am so sorry, if I haven’t turned my back on you ealier today, you won’t have been in this state, am so sorry”. She said crying holding his hand.

“Please get well soon sir Alex, it hurts so much seeing you this way, it hurts so much, please get well soon”.

“Where have you been Naomi”. Susan asked when she came back.

“No where mom, I…I…saw Finn off”. She muttered.

“That’s was hours ago, I called Finn earlier and he said you went back home, before he even took a cab home, so where did you go Naomi”.

“No where Mom”.

“Did you go to the hospital to see that boy….answer me Naomi!!”.

“I just wanted to see how he…..”

A slap landed in her face cutting her short.

“You just wanted to see how his doing, have you forgotten the hell you went through because of him, you were accused of being a murderer and tortured so badly, have you forgotten about all of that!!!”

“I haven’t mom”. Naomi muttered between tears.

“Then why Naomi, why do you want to put yourself in another problem…..do you love that boy”.

Naomi only hicups in tears.

“Answer me Naomi!!”.

“Yes I do mom, I love sir Alex”. She said between tears, and Susan slaps her again.

Dante and Brielle rushed to her.

“That’s enough Susan, Naomi just came back from hell”.

“Give me your phone”. Susan orders.

And Naomi reluctantly gives her phone, Susan took it, and smashed it to the floor.

“Am going to get a new one tomorrow, and whatever feelings you have for that boy should die this instant, because I’ll never allow you to be in a relationship with him, and if ever I found out you went against me, you won’t believe what am going to do to you Naomi”. Susan said and storms to her room angrily.

Dante went after her, while Brielle squat beside Naomi.

“Naomi”.

“What’s so wrong in being in love with sir Alex”. She asked between tears.

“Everything Naomi, have you forgotten what you went through, worst are your going to come if you stay glued to him, mom is right, you have to kill whatever feelings you have for him, that’s the only way you can be save”. Brielle said.

“Brielle”. Naomi muttered, hugging her sister crying.

Same day in the quiet night of the police station, quiet footsteps were heard, as it went Inside the cell Olivia was locked in.

“Who’re you”. Olivia asked.

But the man walks closer to him, and tied his neck tightly with a rope, covering his mouth, so he won’t make a sound.

He continues suffocating Olivia with the rope, and he let go off him, when Olivia was no longer breathing.

He hang Olivia with the rope in the ceiling, making sure it looks like suicide.

“Hello ma’am”. He said over the phone.

“Is it done”. She asked.

“Yes”

And Emilia smirks.

NEXT DAY~HOSPITAL***

“Is a good thing your finally awake best friend, I thought you won’t wake up quickly, thanks for coming back to us”. Calvin said.

“Where’s Naomi”. He asked looking around.

Calvin sighs.

“Were you expecting her to be here, after everything that happened to her”.

“Naomi was here, so where did she go”.

“If not that your my best friend, I’ll have called you a fool, I know you’re inlove with Naomi, but this is getting out of the extraordinary, why will Naomi even come here”.

“I know what am talking about Calvin, I feel Naomi was here, she was crying”.

Calvin sighs.

“Natasha really needs to check if truly your brains got dislocated”.

Julio and Emilia enters the ward.

“My son”. Emilia whines hugging Alex, Calvin rolls his eyes.

“How are you son, are you still hurt”. Emilia asked, caressing his cheek.

“Am fine mom, but what I want to ask is why did you all allow Naomi to beaten up that way”.

“We thought she was really the one who shot you, and trying to denied it”. Julio answers.

“But still that was uncalled for, what if she had died in the process of the torture”. Alex asked.

“Am sorry son”. Julio apologize.

Alex sighs.

“And what about the Olivia guy who gave a false statement”.

Morris Enters the ward.

“Alex, am glad your awake”. He said.

“You should thank your stars that I’ve not fully recovered yet, you won’t have like what I’ll do to you”.

“I know your mad at me for what I did, but you can’t blame me if I took the case about you seriously….but that’s not why am here, is Olivia”.

“What about him”. Calvin asked.

“He committed suicide”

Everyone eyes were wide open in shock, except for Emilia who secretly smiled.

“But how did that happen”. Julio asked.

“We wanted to take him to the interrogating room for more questioning, when we saw him hanged up in the ceiling, he must have comitted suicide last night”.

“You know this is all your fault, you were quick to torture Naomi to speak up for a crime she didn’t do, but you couldn’t to thesame to that Olivia guy, and now his dead!”. Alex yells and groans in pain holding his chest.

“Calm down Alex”. Calvin said patting him.

“Am sorry Alex, but we still have the picture of the Man who shot you, and we won’t stop until we find him”. Morris said.

“Was he sleeping when you left him”. Natasha asked as they walked towards Alex’s Ward.

“Yes Natasha, but are you sure is okay for him to stay here, you once said is unsafe for him here”.

“The fact that the murderer face was captured, he won’t try to do anything stupid, because he knows the police are at watch for him, and even if his working for someone, his boss can’t order him to get rid of Alex, else he wants to be caught”.

Calvin smiles and wrapped his hand around her.

“My girlfriend is a genius”. He said and Pecks her lips.

Both laugh, and went Inside the ward, but their smiles vanish into thin air, when they didn’t see Alex.

“Calvin where’s Alex”.

“He was right there on the bed, he said he wanted to be alone, that’s why I left him”.

“Then when did he go”.

Both look at each other.

“Naomi”.

Alex firmly held the IV drip walker, as he keeps waiting for Naomi.

He didn’t go anywhere close to her house, because he knew Susan will devour on him.

His eyes were getting blurry, but still he was determined to see her.

Her face was like a life span to him.

Naomi stops on her track on seeing Alex, she has gone out earlier to get medicines for herself.

“Sir Alex”.

Alex looks behind him, and sees Naomi looking at him.

“Naomi”. He stuttered, and walks closer to her with the help of the IV drip walker.

“What’re you doing here sir Alex, shouldn’t you be in the hospital”. Naomi asked looking at the hospital clothes he was wearing.

“I came to see how your doing Naomi”.

“You should worry more about yourself”. Naomi said trying to leave, but Alex held her.

And how he held her, prove to Naomi that he was still very weak, but he still came to see her.

“Naomi, am sorry for what you went through because of me, am really sorry” he said with misty eyes.

“Just go to the hospital Alex, and stop worrying about me, stop trying to ask for my forgiveness, because we never go back to the time we used to be friends”.

“Naomi, I can’t be able to do that”.

“And why not Alex, am nothing special to you right, we always argue everytime we see each other, we just recently became friends, so why can’t you leave me alone and go back to the times before you met or knew about my existence”.

“Are you that draft not to know why, or are you just pretending not to know, I love you Naomi, I love you so much, and I wish I had told you before this whole mess happened, I love you so much Naomi”.

Naomi’s tears almost fell down her eyes, but she quickly blink it back.

“Just go back to the hospital Alex I think your mentally sick”.

“No am not, I know what I feel, I love you Naomi, I f*cking love you so much”.

“Well I don’t love you”.

“Naomi”. He muttered as balls of tears falls down his eyes.

“That’s what you want to hear right, I don’t love you Alex, I feel nothing for you, so go back to the hospital and never bother to come back here”. Naomi said and turns to leave.

“Then why did you come to the hospital”. He asked, and Naomi stops on her track.

“Why did you come to the hospital, and cried begging me to wake up”.

“I didn’t come to the hospital sir Alex, is just your stupid imagination”. Naomi said.

“So you don’t love me…..you don’t have any slightest feelings for me”. Alex asked.

Naomi looks at him.

“Do you love me”. He asked again.

“No I don’t sir Alex, so please stop showing your face around me, because it sucks”. Naomi said, and tries to leave but Alex’s held her hand again.

“Please Naomi, don’t reject me, I can’t take it cos….I love you too much, a little of your love will do Naomi, please”. Alex said crying.

Naomi takes her hand from Alex, and since he was still weak, he staggered and falls to the ground.

“What part of I don’t love you don’t you understand, stop trying to force yourself on me because I’ll never love you…just get lost”. Naomi said and leaves.

Thousands of pains aches in his chest, and he groans in pain.

His eyes were red, and tears never ceased to stop falling down his eyes.

He could see his blood dropping down on the ground.

His wounds reopened.

His chest and nosery formulate blood, and he held his chest and head, groaning in a nonstop pain, and he feels his soul slowly leaving his body.

“I love you Naomi”. He muttered Painfully, before passing out completely.
