EPISODE 32

Miguel broke the hug and gave Ariel a thorough check up. She had a lot of open wounds and bruises, it made him angry and he swore to kill Laura and Jerry anytime he sets eyes on them.

“I'm so sorry that you had to go through this because of me. I promise you that I won't let Jerry get away with this” Miguel said and hugged her again. Ariel couldn't even speak, she cried like a child, happy that Miguel was alive and that she was back and safe.

Ariel saw Xander staring at them, he wasn't looking happy at all. She broke the hug with Miguel and went to meet him. Xander managed to smile a little when she approached him. Miguel on the other hand wasn't pleased that Ariel was going over to talk to Xander.

“Hi Xander” she smiled.

“I'm just happy you're safe.. you and your baby, please don't ever scare me like that again” Xander said and gently pulled her into a hug. Ariel tightened her grip around him and that was when Miguel got upset. He went and separated them and started dragging Ariel along with him to his car.

“You're wounded, you need urgent medical attention. Let's get going” Miguel said and drove off with Ariel after exchanging glares with Xander. Xander also got into his car and left for the mansion. He was afraid, because it was Ariel's decision to choose whom she wants to be with and he was scared she would choose Miguel. If that happens, he might not survive the heartbreak.

★★ AT THE MANSION ★★

“After the check up, I found out that Ariel might have a difficult birth if something urgent is not done. She's been put through a lot of stress and I'm honestly surprised that the baby is okay.” The doctor said and Miguel nodded. He was holding Ariel's hand while she sat on the bed.

“So what do we do?” Miguel asked.

“I'll write out a list of medications for her, and you need to make sure she gets more than enough rest. Give her a lot of nourishing food and put her through any stress relieving activity like playing games, jokes and others” the doctor listed and Miguel nodded. Ariel sighed and rested her head on Miguel's arm. He smiled.

“Thank you doc, we'll do all you've said” Miguel answered. The doctor wrote out a list of medicine and handed it to Miguel before leaving the room for them.

“I should take my bath” Ariel said, trying to stand up but Miguel pulled her down.

“Didn't you hear the doctor? You shouldn't stress yourself, I'll run the bath and bathe you myself” Miguel smiled and she was shocked. His change in attitude towards her was impossible to ignore. She couldn't believe that he was the same man who put her through so much pain.

“Okay” she nodded.

Miguel ran into the bathroom and ran a warm bath, he did it all the while smiling widely. After that, he called Ariel in and she took off her clothes before getting into the bathtub. Miguel sat on the floor next to the tub but Ariel convinced him to get into the tub with her so he did.

He scrubbed her body gently and slowly, turning her on in the process. He went to her tummy and kissed it severally.

“I've missed you so much baby” he said to Ariel's tummy lovingly and she giggled. He continued to scrub her, going down to her thighs and in-between. She couldn't hide the fact that she was turned on anymore. She held the bathtub and bit down on her lip. Miguel smirked, and continued to tease her, touching her in areas that would get her even hotter than she was.

He drew circles around her areola, teasing her n!pples, she sighed softly, shutting her eyes.

“I can see you really missed me” he teased and she blushed.

“Tell me, do you want me?” He asked, giving her kisses on her neck and ears. She moaned softly, Miguel had missed that a lot. Since she went missing, he never felt the urge to be with another woman.

“You know the answer to that” she answered.

“I want to hear you say it” he continued to kiss her cheek, chin and nose, avoiding her lips which she was craving badly.

“Yes, I want you badly” she moaned, begging to taste his lips. Miguel immediately crashed his lips on hers, they kissed each other hungrily, their hands all over each other. Miguel had to stop and finish their bath before carrying her into the bedroom.

They devoured each other on the bed that night, and fell asleep on themselves.

The next morning, Ariel decided to take a walk around the mansion. She had missed the place so much and the maids and some of Miguel's men were excited to see her back home safely. Ariel screamed out of joy when she sighted Sally in the garden, they embraced each other warmly, almost to the point of tears.

“I am so happy to see you Ariel. You have no idea how excited I was when Xander told me last night that you were back” Sally chimed, giggling. Ariel became a bit sad when she remembered Xander, she wondered what he was going through, seeing her with Miguel.

“I'm happy to see you too Sally. Honestly, I missed you all” Ariel sighed.

“Look at you tummy, it's grown so much. Are you sure it's only one baby in there?” Sally asked and they laughed, walking into the garden together. Sally didn't let Ariel touch anything, she made her sit and tell her stories about what happened in Jerry's custody. They had fun talking and rekindling their friendship.

Sally had forgotten about the issues with Xander, she decided to move on and accept that Xander couldn't love her back. Being a sweet soul, she tried her best to be friends with Ariel again.

After spending time with Sally, Ariel decided to go and see Xander but didn't find him in his room. She went back to Miguel's room and found them arguing. They stopped talking immediately she entered.

“Um.. what's going on?” She asked, looking from Miguel to Xander.

Xander walked up to her and took her hand in his, Miguel frowned, fisting his fingers.

“Get your hands off her” Miguel ordered.

“Why have you suddenly changed? You never cared for any of your slaves before. Why her? Why now that I'm in love with her?” Xander asked and turned to Ariel who was in tears.

“You knew that I loved you and yet you fell for him. Am I not good enough? Why do you plan to shatter my heart? After everything I've done for you both, you pay me back with betrayal” Xander said and let go of her hand.

“Xander..” Ariel sniffed. Xander left the room, unable to control his emotions anymore. Ariel turned to Miguel and stared at him for a few seconds before going to lie on her bed.

“Don't worry about him” Miguel spoke up.

“How would you understand what he's going through? You've never been in love” Ariel said and Miguel went silent. Sooner or later, he had to tell her how he felt about her.

Miguel got ready and left for work that morning, on arriving his office, his secretary came to meet him, looking disturbed.

“What's the problem?” Miguel asked her.

“I just sighted Jerry sir. He was around the office an hour ago, I think he was looking for you” the secretary said and Miguel sprang up. He left everything and dashed out of the office. He called his men immediately and asked them track him as soon as possible. Since Jerry is in Mexico, Miguel was sure to track him wherever he was.

Within an hour, Jerry's location was pinned and Miguel took the decision to pay him a visit that night.

Later That Night

Ariel was sitting on her bed, eating some chips when Miguel showed up from the bathroom, wearing all black. He even had a black bandana on. Ariel admitted that he looked hot, too hot.

“Where are you going dressed like a black and white movie?” She asked, raising her brow. Miguel chuckled and squatted in front of her. She stared down at him and when he smiled, she blushed.

“Where are you going to?” She repeated her question.

“Well, Jerry is in town and I want to pay him a little visit” he answered and Ariel gasped.

“What? Please be careful, he's very dangerous.. he..”

“..he isn't going to do anything. All I know is that today, blood must be shed. Either mine or his” Miguel said sternly. Ariel sighed, she was afraid for him but had to trust him.

“Okay, be safe” she said. He took her hand and kissed the back of her palm.

“I want to tell you something before I leave” he said and she nodded slowly.

“I have been afraid of what your reaction would be but I have to since it's killing me to tell you..” he paused and took a deep breath.

“I'm getting nervous” she chuckled.

“Ariel.. I love you. I love you so much. It took me a while to realize it but I have. I've been the worst person to you I know, but you've been the best thing to ever happen to me. I don't care if you don't feel the same way for me, but I will never stop loving you. If you forgive me for everything, I promise to never let you shed another tear” he confessed, his eyes not leaving hers.
