EPISODE 26

♣ I LOVE YOU…DADA ♣

A MONTH LATER.

Imelda wrapped up her work quickly. She actually has a date with Hardin later. For the past month they have been during extremely great together. Though they do have some little fights…Hardin doesn't waste time to always sort it out. One could tell he is really head over heels with her and had changed…or maybe that's just who he really is. His Grandpa also noticed this and is extremely happy. Lately, they had a family dinner together and Hardin and Alfred Almost got into a fight when he spotted Alfred trying to get close to Imelda. Grandpa decides they settle whatever differences they may have but they knew the best thing is to stay away from each other…at least for a while.

“What do you want now Alfred?!” Imelda shot at Alfred who had forcefully pulled her to the rooftop on her way out of the office.

“What are you even doing here?”

“First this is my company and second you wouldn't give me face so I had no choice…we really need to talk”

“I have nothing to say to you don't you understand!”

“Can you just calm down and listen to me? See yes I know I did did wrong but it's already in the past…come on Imelda forget about it and let's just move on ok?”

“There's nothing to move on with…you're really despicable…how could you do that and have no iota of guilt? Do you even have conscience?”

“You think I'm okay with what happened also? Imelda look at me well I'm just trying to move on!”

“Someone died!! She died Alfred…but you feel nothing…how do you expect me to be okay with you? Why? Is that your agenda with me also? You intentionally have me drunk that night too! Were you planning…to repeat your act? On me this time ?!”

“Listen Imelda_”

“Rapist!….murderer! Animal!!! That's who you are…I don't ever wanna see you again and if you don't stop pestering me…then I wouldn't hesitate to inform Hardin” She glared then turn leaving.

“I'M SORRY! I'M SORRY OKAY…DON'T LEAVE! Imelda…don't…”

“I trusted you Alfred…but you completely destroyed my trust in you…things can never go back to the way it is…I'm happy now so please….leave me alone” she said and he scoffs. Imelda raised a brow. He walked closer tucking his hands in his pockets with a smug look.

“You're happy? With who? Him? Why? You think he's a f**king saint?!…you think he's all clean!!”

“I don't care what you say Alfred…right now…I'm severing any ties I have with you…goodbye” She said firmly and left there while Alfred just guffawed like a maniac watching her leave.

“Hardin!” Imelda rushedto him on getting out of the company giving him a tight hug.

“You took long”

“Sorry did you waited long?”

“No…get in” He said opening the car door and she got in. Alfred watch from the rooftop as they left the building. He smirks.

“Alright…enjoy it as long as you can…but Imelda one thing you don't know…you can never be happy with him either…he's not any different from me…” He snickers.

“Hooooo!!! Yeahhhhhhh!! Wooo hooooo!! Yayyyyyyy!!!” Imelda spread her arms widely shouting non stop with the cool breeze fanning her hair.

Hardin wouldn't stop smiling as he drove through the highway.

“This is sooooo cooolllllll!!!” She continues yelling.

“That's enough now….your voice is gonna crack” Hardin said and she sat down on the seat grinning. She took a bottle of chilled water and gulped it all down in a go.

“You okay?” Hardin asked.

“Perfect!” She winked.

AT THE BEACH.

“Wowww it's bonfire!!!” Imelda yelled ecstatically towards the group of people gathered around the bonfire. Hardin just smiles following behind.

“Hardin walk faster….faster!” She ran back to him and held his hand pulling him there.

“It's sooo beautiful…” She enthused joining the group of people to watch it clearly. She wasn't the only one gushing over it. The people around were also and some were even taking pictures. She brought out her phone and took some pictures of it. A loud firework suddenly exploded widely in the air making the people including her scream their lungs out. She keeps jumping in excitement as she watched with utmost ecstasy.

“Come here will you” Hardin pulled her closer putting his arms around her shoulders. He took different pictures of them.

“Do you love it?” He asked.

“I so much do” She gushed happily giggling like a little kid.

AN HOUR LATER.

The moonlight shone brightly as the water incessantly makes some sounds. The chilly hair blew her hair as she walks hand in hand with Hardin none of them saying a word to each other. Frequently, they would look at each other and smile or giggled.

“Are you cold?” He quizzed on noticing her rubbing her arm with her other hand.

She only smiles in return.

He stops and she stops also.

“It's getting more chilly…the night is getting colder also” He said.

Imelda smiles watching the full moon.

“The night is beautiful…” She said almost in a whisper. Hardin wrapped his arms around her from behind.

“It is…” He said also. They both stay there staring at the beautiful view. Minutes later Imelda felt a drop of water drop on her nose. She touches it and more started dropping. She looks up and discover it's actually rain.

“Oh no…” It started drizzling and she got out of Hardin's hold.

“We should leave now Hardin” She said and the rain now start to become heavy. People already started running for shelter but seems Hardin isn't ready for that.

“Hardin…”

“Come on Imelda…it could actually be a good thing…just something we need to complete this romantic night”

“Romantic my foot…if you are not leaving then I am…” She started walking away as the droplets of rain rushed down on her. Hardin ran after her and block her way…she branch somewhere else and he did the same.

“Hardin…”

“Don't be in a rush Dada…come on let's complete this…” He said carrying her suddenly. She released a gasp.

“Hardin…”

“If I get a cold then it's all your fault!” She shouted as he carried her around the beach in the rain.

“Hardin…” She giggled as he swirls her around at the same time.

They started playing, chasing each other around in the rain like little kids. No doubt they were completely drenched now.

As the rain fell…they danced, kissed, chased each other, giggled, kissed, chat, laughs and do all sort of things.

AT HOME.

Immediately the car stopped, Imelda rushed down from the car inside the house covering herself. Her clothes are totally wet which makes it diaphanous and she certainly doesn't want Hardin to see that.

He chuckles as he watched her ran inside the house. He shakes his head and enters also.

After taking her bath and cladding herself in her night gown… She said her night prayers and went towards her bed lying on it. She covers herself with the duvet getting ready to sleep but then her phone beeped.

💬”Asleep?” 💬 it was a message from Hardin.

She smiles and texted back.

💬”Yes”💬

💬”Really…that's too bad…I wanted you to play with me. I can't sleep”💬

💬”play by yourself…don't disturb my beauty sleep” 💬

💬”can you wake up for me?”💬

💬” what do I get in return?”💬

💬”movie”💬

“💬 There's no way I'm doing that this late”💬 she frowns. No response came from him.

💬”….”💬

She waited but still no response. She was about texting again when the door suddenly opened revealing Hardin with his laptop.

“I got some popcorn and beer also” He said showing him the stuffs in his hands.

Minutes later…Imelda's attention was on the movie they're currently watching. They're currently both lying on the bed and she was munching on the popcorn while Hardin watch her.

“You know I don't get…am I the one you're watching or the movie?” She asked not looking at him.

“I have no interest in it…you're all that matters” He replied smiling. Imelda faces him now.

“Tell me…your were never interested in watching a movie?”

“It was only an excuse to be with you”

“You silly…”

“Dada…”

“It's been a while you called me that”

“Can I kiss you?” That question caught her off guard as she kept quiet for a while.

“Do you need my permission to do that? I always thought you do things your way?” She replied slowly as her eyes now drifted to his lips. He smiles.

“I know right”

“Are you gonna do it or not?”

He smiles

“I just think I'm gon_” His speech was caught short when she grabbed his PJ collar abruptly and smacked her lips on his. Hardin didn't hesitate to retaliate. He grabbed her face pulling her closer her fingers knots tightly on his collar with her eyes tightly shut. He slipped his palm to the back of her head also their tongues dancing and gallivanting around in their mouths.

The laptop collided on the floor he got on top her and her back slowly collided on the bed.

After minutes of wild kisses…his lips left hers and travelled down her neck. He places kisses all over it as well and she held unto him tightly. Soft moans escaped her lips and that seems to turn him on more. He went back to her face devouring her lips. Hungrily and dominantly. He bit and suck her lip flipping tongues also.

“Hardin…”She moans into his mouth. He unlock from the kiss and places kisses all over her face to her earlobe. His hands roaming around her visible body. It came in contact with her breast giving it a little squeeze. She gasped snapping her eyes open.

Hardin notice this and stopped. He looked straight into her eyes which wouldn't stop searching his. He gave her a reassuring smile. He could tell she was actually taken aback. It's better he stops here before he wouldn't be able to control himself anymore.

“I'm not gonna rush you…you can take your time Imelda…I promise I'm never gonna do anything without your permission” he said burying his face in the crook of her neck.

“Thank you Hardin…” She breathes out.

“I love you Imelda…so much”

DAYS LATER.

Hardin laid on his back with his head on Imelda's laps. She gently play with his hair while he keep his eyes closed.

“I'm gonna be away for some while” she said making him snap his eyes open.

He furrows his brows.

“Why?” He asked obviously displeased.

“I have to go see mother”

“But you spent the last weekend at their place”

“No…not her…mother superior…at the orphanage”

“Mother superior?”

“Uh….it's been a while I've seen her now…I feel bad and I kinda miss her”

“Oh…really…” He sounded low.

“Um…so I'm planning to go tomorrow…I'll leave early also…I'll be back by weekend”

“I'll go with you”

“You will?”

“Um…you don't possibly expect me to let you go alone…how do you want me to cope? And more so I can as well use the opportunity to meet this mother superior of yours. I have to thank her for raising such an angel like you” He said and she chuckles.

“You can't do without me can you?”

“I can't” He replied and she chuckles still.

“You're my life navigator” He added.
